DAMN IT I THOUGHT THE SHORTSWORD WAS A PLANE
Would it not be funny if Naval Architect who designed Infinity class, were quirky eccentric who named every ship with -ity names.
– Infinity
– Eternity
– Multiversity
– University
ARTEMIS AGROTERRA
I didnβt know I was waiting for the wet navy, but I was excited. But itβs only 1! π Anyway good job, the civilian ships were all cool!
I want more UNSC WET NAVY
I just realized that at 5:16 your phone rings on the recording
great video i love halo and i never knew how deep their ship lore is. i appreciate the depth of your video keep it up!
The Infinity is the best thing 343 ever made.
Which ships had the most Mac-Cannons? Or did every ship just had one?
Good vid but if there was any vessels you missed it would have to be the SKT-9 Bumblebee lifeboat/shuttle basically the thing that landed you on Halo in CE.
The UNSC heavy battleship that you search is the Thanatos class Heavy battleship, built alongside the UNSC Infinity, it's a heavily armored ship with incredible weapon capacity. It was originaly designed to defend the Infinity from attacks and capable to take on it's own a CAS class. Unfortunately his design had a big flaw that was the lack of point defense, the only one that was ever produced has been crippled by a fleat of bombers.
Did he briefly mention the vulture? Or did I miss it? Or did he just not mention that?
Karen Klass…
You had me rolling, when you were trying to say Dudyn shy Gmbh. That was gold right there.
Phase out Earth and Moon for Terra and Luna
9:04 You have EXCELLENT taste. God I loved the Chorus trilogy.
put timestamps for different ship classes
Typical american got no clue other countries have their own names for types of companies π
The Infinity is the GOAT!
The thing that drives me absolutely NUTS about Halo is that the ships they introduce and mention far outpace their effort to put a freaking design to them. I watch to see these new ships come to life, I want to see more human ships! I want to know what else is in the fleet, and the same applies to the Covenant fleet. I just want to know what these damn ships look like!
We still don't have an official classification or much anything for the UNSC Musashi's carrier type. And that drives me insane, because it looks like a legitimately cool ship. I know we have fan renders to hold us over but still. Let's get a name and some official stats, damn it.
Also can I just say I think the Hillsborough class may be one of the ugliest ship designs from Halo so far? What with those weird appendages sticking out from its underside? It's one of the Halo team's most disappointing designs. I have a hard time getting on board with such a weird design as that. The recently-revealed Able-class Heavy Destroyer is a ship I'd be much more eager to see in-game. That actually looks pretty badass.
Also the ship classification names are just bizarre and all over the place. Wish there was more structure to how they choose to classify these human ships.
Anyway, I have a lot to say on Halo's warships, and I appreciate videos like this going in depth. But it also highlights that we desperately need the gaps filled on what the hell is out there in the ever-expanding Halo universe. Too many faceless ships to cover.
my favorite unsc frigate is the strident because it is 1 major story beat away from being a straight up forerunner ship
NGL I was kinda excited for the boats.
booty… yar!
1:43 Kuushan Shipyards? A homeworld reference? Nice
8:49 yeah, itβs not mentioned much but wet navy ships still exist. Most of them are probably museum ships (such as the by the 2500βs ancient USS Iowa) though there would likely be some modern wet navy ships. Mostly to patrol waters.
Just imagine some wet navy cruiser (or battleship?) defending a port/coastal city from a covenant attack.
The light battleship has two USB ports, amazing!
