  1. The UNSC heavy battleship that you search is the Thanatos class Heavy battleship, built alongside the UNSC Infinity, it's a heavily armored ship with incredible weapon capacity. It was originaly designed to defend the Infinity from attacks and capable to take on it's own a CAS class. Unfortunately his design had a big flaw that was the lack of point defense, the only one that was ever produced has been crippled by a fleat of bombers.

  2. The thing that drives me absolutely NUTS about Halo is that the ships they introduce and mention far outpace their effort to put a freaking design to them. I watch to see these new ships come to life, I want to see more human ships! I want to know what else is in the fleet, and the same applies to the Covenant fleet. I just want to know what these damn ships look like!

We still don't have an official classification or much anything for the UNSC Musashi's carrier type. And that drives me insane, because it looks like a legitimately cool ship. I know we have fan renders to hold us over but still. Let's get a name and some official stats, damn it.

Also can I just say I think the Hillsborough class may be one of the ugliest ship designs from Halo so far? What with those weird appendages sticking out from its underside? It's one of the Halo team's most disappointing designs. I have a hard time getting on board with such a weird design as that. The recently-revealed Able-class Heavy Destroyer is a ship I'd be much more eager to see in-game. That actually looks pretty badass.

Also the ship classification names are just bizarre and all over the place. Wish there was more structure to how they choose to classify these human ships.

Anyway, I have a lot to say on Halo's warships, and I appreciate videos like this going in depth. But it also highlights that we desperately need the gaps filled on what the hell is out there in the ever-expanding Halo universe. Too many faceless ships to cover.

  3. 8:49 yeah, it’s not mentioned much but wet navy ships still exist. Most of them are probably museum ships (such as the by the 2500’s ancient USS Iowa) though there would likely be some modern wet navy ships. Mostly to patrol waters.

Just imagine some wet navy cruiser (or battleship?) defending a port/coastal city from a covenant attack.
