First, let’s see what Airbus has at this Farnborough Air Show.
At the exhibition, Airbus introduced its new long-range narrow-body aircraft, the Airbus A3 21 XLR, which had been certified by European regulators just days before the exhibition began.
The most outstanding point of Airbus in this air show is the impressive number of A3 20 orders. Although it started with only 25 orders on the first day, quite modest compared to Boeing’s 56 orders on the first day, the following days were very promising. On the first day, Airbus received orders for 25 aircraft, including 3 A3 20 Neo, 2 A3 21 XLR from Drukair, and 20 A3 30 900 from VietJet. Previously, VietJet already owned several A3 30, and this order reinforced their confidence and preference for this aircraft.

On the second day, the company received orders for 44 aircraft, including 7 A3 30 900 for Virgin Atlantic, 20 A3 50 900, and 11 A3 21 Neo from Japan Airlines, totaling 31 aircraft. Japan Airlines also previously owned a few A300 and currently has A3 50 in its fleet. Additionally, there were orders for 6 A3 20 Neo from Berniq Airways. On the third day, the company did not receive any orders; however, on the fourth day, the company reached its peak during this exhibition with a total of 95 orders. This included 5 A3 50 900 from Abra Group and a large order of 75 A3 20 Neo and 15 A3 30 900 from Flynas, totaling 90 aircraft. This order brought the total number of orders Airbus received at this event to 164 aircraft, surpassing its largest competitor from the US.

I heard that Airbus has to say no to several airlines because production capacity is overbooked.
