Boarding action looks really fun ngl
Yay Inquisition
I wonder why almost all armies with characters in the elite section got exceptions to the number of characters but not Chaos Daemons for Exalted Flamers? They can specifically not get enhancements so it seems bad to include them as your only character.
i have a feeling this is going to be a huge flop.
So chaos don't get demon prince that's a feels bad but tau can take a commander
So as far as Haralds slaanesh and khorne are ok but tzeench is so meh
Can the Imperial Guard still call in orbital bombardments? I'm not seeing anything that prevents it.
I think this is a great way to create lots of small 500 point armies….which could also be used a allies in larger games…very clever GW….looking forward to making a Genestealer Cult…um…Genestealer list….
Wow! Bought the kill team boxes and im sorely disappointed!
Orks got super nerfed .
Robust Gorillaman and his six best friends, three units of Victrix Guard is a legal army. Do want
I’m down to try this game mode.
The restrictions are so arbitrary and missing out on some of the most obviously broken things..
Just to throw in a few random things:
Why are CSM Terminators not restricted? You can still use a big unit of Terminators with most of the buffs (limited HQs prevent you from taking all of them) while Possessed are limited to 6 for no reason I could understand.
Cultists you can't split, while Accussed have to be split.. seems arbitrary to me.
Tyranids can max out on Zoas to spam MW like no tomorrow (and round up with a few Pyrovores) while some of the other factions get their Psychers restricted..
Most of the key T'au unit have fly, which makes it almost a exclusively a Firewarriors and Kroot army. A unit of Crisis is nice and all, but not having the option for drones seems just.. stupid.
Drukhari get all the retinue units cut and the Court rendered useless.. You are basically forced to just take a Succubus/Drazhar and Incubi/Grotesque spam since there is very little other you are able to take. A unit of Warriors with a blaster might sound nice but if you think about how they will just die after maybe not even killing a single model… Wracks at least have their flamers, Wyches idk why you would use them.
It's not even about the rules not being balanced for cometitive play. It's more about how the rules don't seem to make any sense and restrict things for no appreant reason while leaving out obviously OP things of which some are not even fluffy or anything.
What no chaos knight rules!! This is BS (!)
Wait. I can't take a Carnifex? But … they literally got their nickname of Screamer Killers from killing Marines while boarding Imperial ships….
Nobody cares about this garbage game mode gw.
this game mode, cutting away the rules glut and giving us a skill intensive but fast and fun game mode, is how 40k should be going forward.
No Tyranid Raveners? Sad.
The first thing that came to mind is the Red Terror.
Listening to Auspex's pained voice as he admits he was wrong on the crisis suits was gold.
jokes aside, super cool to see all the boarding actions stuff! looking forward to putting together my crew!
Basically what I figured killteam would be, and always wanted it to be. The exclusion of elites was rather silly, having a Spacehulk board without being to use terminators was, until now, wasted potential.
I’m curious on how deathwatch kill teams will function in this and there limitations
Oke some optimism has arrived. Going to look into this. it looks promising.
To the left! Overwatch!
So from I glean from the tau rules. Once you take a stealth team or a crisis suit team, you can only take firesight marksmen. So you get a cadre fire blade or ethereal. Up to 3 squads of infantry. 1 elite and then 2 random dudes and maybe a squad of pathfinders.
