  2. I’m quite ill partly thanks to Boris Johnson and his Tories savaging our NHS. I’m considering relocating to either the Khumbu region or the Karakoram. Both stunning places but your video here has maybe edged Namche Bazzaar ahead. Then I could get as much opiates as I need to stave off this horrible pain. I’d love to help spend what little money I get on building a school or hospital for the locals. Such wonderful people. I could die quite happy in the mountains. Ama Dablam is beautiful isn’t it. Pity Everest is a rubbish tip thanks to morons who want to add a tick on a bucket list to brag to their friends that they “Climbed” Everest. Even though it’s a walk. Real climbers climb a peak like Ama Dablam or K2…in the winter!! That’s true climbing. At least we pay the Sherpas to carry our sewage back down to their homes!! Disgrace.

  4. Excellent video you guys handled it well, am glad to see you didn't endanger any Sherpas and this proves you don't need them to carry you up as most couch warriors like to say to diminish your achievements

  5. Absolute geg the pair of you. 😂 I adore your whole attitude and the enthusiasm that goes along with it. Heading in October and I am beyond excited. Albeit a little nervous about altitude sickness. Any tips or recommendations for dealing with this?

  6. How infectious you both are. That’s was thoroughly enjoyable to watch. I loved the realty of it. What an honour to meet Kancha Sherpa, such memories you will forever have.
Would love to know more about preparing and packing for the trip & then about your accommodations & food. Mostly it sounded sensational with what you showed. Great work from an Aussie in Tassie 🥰

  7. Lovely! Thank you for filming this. I'd totally make an EBC trekk (no way I'd attempt the summit) but this appears doable — with effort of course (totally not underestimating the amount of effort). Cheers!

  8. What an unbelievable trip and a great video. Well done. I did not want it to end. Have always wanted to go the EBC. Have read allmost every mountain book in the last 25 years. Was it a big financial difference as in doing it by yourself and doing it through a touring company? And how many months out did you have to book all your accommodation, logistics, etc? You must have 100s of great photos to keep forever. I forgot to mention your accent is amazing! Take care

  9. Wonderful video! I and three friends will be attempting this trek next month (so excited!). One of our group is getting a bit nervous about the fact that this is a "no porters or guide" trip. Did you have any concerns or problems/issues that were due to the fact you had no guide or porter? Your feedback would be much appreciated!
