  1. Love Citadel, can´t wait for that!
But, for me, give me the Asteborg dual-cart all day!
The limited edition one looks cool, but I´m worried bout the fomo surrounding that one, and the gameplay is not my cup of tea to be honest, but either way, looks cool enough. Good on Blaze, great showcase over all

  2. I'm all for the indie home computer collection, even though I have played Bridge Strike on Switch. I wasn't very impressed with it. I hope the graphical glitches in this video won't be in the final version…
Sword of Ianna I've seen get very positive reviews on multiple platforms, and that game alone sells this cart to me.
I'm not sure I'm into Planet X2, but I'm very happy to see this apparently has been edited a bit for Evercade — see 4:25 and the button names on the right (X/Y/A/B).
Citadel, looks interesting and I'll be sure to give it a good spin.

I don't know about the games on the double-game carts. We'll see, but I've passed all the other double-game carts thus far.

Full Void has already reviews on Metacritic, and some review blurb mentioned the game being rather short. I'm not sure how I feel about this game.

  3. Oh right; we were drawing to the end of July and the Evercade Indie Showcase still hadn't happened. Glad I'm able to see it through your reaction video here. I don't tend to follow the Indie scene too much (played great indie games but don't tend to keep track of what is and isn't indie) so I've no particular expectations aside from hoping to see fun games.

1:27 – As someone who only got his Evercade Vs this year, these recaps are pretty handy in knowing what game collections that have already released might tickle my interest.

3:27 – I'm going to guess this might be ZX80? Home computer is a pretty broad term given how many there were back in the day. Bridge Strike, Tanks Furry and The Sword of Ianna are the games of this collection that caught my eye.

4:57 – The visuals of the cinematics certainly feel like the home computers of the early 90's. Love that we get to hear from the developers here.

6:37 – I love the visual style of the game. It's simple yet vibrant and full of life. Those little deer you can see are a good example.

8:49 – Hold on; is there a Pokémon like game on the Evercade? That one screenshot certainly intrigued me.

11:12 – Is this the first GBA game on the Evercade? Certainly looks the part.

11:55 – Love the look and the witch protagonist but puzzle games don't tend to be my thing. Still, this is probably the most tempting Evercade dual pack I've seen so far.

16:12 – Very Flashback/Another World vibe to this. Not my cup of tea but great atmosphere.

21:03 – The uniquely coloured cartridge is certainly a nice touch.
