Formula One’s return to Australia – and its long-term host city Melbourne – had just about everything in 2023.

A record crowd of 444,631 people over the four days, six per cent up on 2022’s previous high, turned up to the inner city Albert Park, despite the city’s legendary changeable weather. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…

  1. Eventful for the wrong reasons. It likes as if the new race director gets paid by red flags. It was a joke, to put it mildly. Most of the situations would and have been handed by VSC or Safety Car within 2-3 laps. Under Charlie this would have never happened and even under Michael it would not have happened. In my eyes a change in Race Director is needed. Never did we have so many Red Flags in the first few races. If this is a sneak peak of whats to come it will be a terrible season, great for TV bad for the sport.
