  14. I’m SO excited for you! Coldplay is the best. I flew to Seattle from FL in October to see them and Atlanta in June. It’s so much fun! They will play all three songs you mentioned. Woohoo!

  18. That first bar had Westvleteren. That's quite hard to get hold of because it's said to be the best beer in the world while there's only so much brewed by the monks. You have to be on a waiting list for a long time and then you have to drive to the monastry to pick up a crate of 6. Yes, it is expensive but I'd try it the next time you see it somewhere.

    Lambiek is also very interesting because it's from spontaneous fermentation that only happens in the small region of/near Brussels. It's the beer that peasants drank while painted by Brueghel. It is sour, so they put fruit in it to sweeten it and that's called Kriek (meaning cherry).
    They also blend it into 'a poor man's champagne' and that's called Oude Geuze. It is still sour but it's also very interesting, complex and funky in taste.

  19. I also recommend the authentic Belgian fries, no vegetable oil but fried in blanc de boeuf/ossenwit, 12mm, "bintje" potato and mayonaise. That's the real deal but some believe that vegetable oil is healthier or fries should be vegan these days. I have no opinion on that but the taste is not the same.
