  1. Estrid Enchantress is my big non-goblin pet deck right now. I've been doing my best to not look too deep into the meta around her deckbuilding, but this vid gave me some solid ideas for things to start searching up on scryfall.

Btw, if anyone is looking to do some pricier upgrades to their Estrid list, if you have enough enchanted lands, she goes infinite with The Chain Veil so long as you can get a Mask on it. It's a pretty janky infinite with a lot of moving pieces and requires a solid payoff to do anything, and I really have never seen anyone get salty over it. Would definitely recommend lol

  2. YAY. I have the Estrid Commander deck, and was looking for an interesting direction to take it in. For a less budget option: if you happen to have a copy of Doubling Season and/or Replenish (like I do) laying around…. Anyone got any other less budget friendly suggestions? Any special lands?

  3. Not super budget (in the US), but Garruk Wildspeaker could be a nice addition. Untaps 2 lands on plus, makes a 3/3 on minus and has an overrun ultimate

  4. My heart weeps seeing not a single enchantress effect in this deck. Its a shame that all of them are, apparently, over $1. Even just a sram would be heinously powerful in this deck.

  5. I want to play some fun decks with a budget but a lot of the ones that i want are now $100 or more decks.. yay. Even this one, shipping is $70 Wtf. The shipping for all of these decks for me at least doubles the price of the deck

  6. This is a spicy list! I’m pretty tempted to buy another Estrid so I can do this without pulling apart my tuned Estrid list I’m working with right now!

Something I’d LOVE to see is a deck built around repeatedly casting the “exile” spells like Emergency Powers and Temporal Mastery with something like Isochron Scepter and Narset’s Reversal, or maybe some Riftsweeper Blink/Pull from Eternity action. I just love the idea of taking the usual “No, you REALLY don’t get to cast this twice!”, restrictions on cards like Part the Waterveil and saying, “YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?!?”

  7. Been playing Estrid for a few years now, going down more of a control-Aura build with anti-attack and Pacifism-like effects. I’ve been bored with the deck lately and this could not have come at a better time.

  8. Just get the precon she comes in and use tuvasa instead tho. So so so much more powerful than estrid. I used to run estrid after buying her precon and upgrading it and simply just swapping out the commanders was worth it alone.

  9. I know it doesn't cost a dollar or less but if you can afford it (still worthy of a budget deck imo) I'd add in Seedborn Muse. Right now you can pick it up for less then $10 (depending on edition). That card is built for this kind of deck.

  10. Mitch, your channel is great, but Im not so certain about TCGplayer anymore; I applied your link, as Ive done in the past, and I get posted a bill of 230$. Why? 30$ cards, 200 shipping. Even after optimization, down to 130$ "Crazy, " I say," its never done that before" I go line by line, theres more than several cards(ISlands! PLains! mana cards!) defaulting to sellers that are shipping at 20$ a pop. "pourqoui?" Sez I, were I french. (nyet) So I send missives to 'help' resulting only in clearing my cart, BUT, also learning: theres a subscription priority service for TCGplayer now! Wow, thats convenient… I think Ive ordered 7 or so decks from these links, your vids, just during covid, and this is new. SO, I do line by line noting as page refreshes, SO do sellers, and the shipping gets bumped up, or availability changes: The subscription service is choking out the non. Whelp. The Prof keeps pitching to give money to local brick n mortar, it was just convenient to get it all in a few clicks. End of an era.
