  1. About learning the game, I actually learned from just playing alone, no sherpas or guides, aside from learning how to use traders and how to do tasks from the wiki. If you just learn how to survive more often, you get more opportunities to learn and improve, and its actually really fun to face that challenge.

  2. I think trying to collab with Operator Drewski would help you tremendously. He's awesome at the game and would likely be teach you a lot about the game, maps, and basically anything you need.

  3. You might already know but each healing item have different effect like when you have 2 Heavy bleeding, only item with description Stop Heavy Bleeding can cure that,
also the mechanic of Bleeding is you lose your HP of the bleeded body part first until it reach 0, then every part of your body will slow/fast bleed out,
Head and Thorax is most important, if one of them reach 0, you dead
Also try to do some main quest/ Daily quest, it will provide good amount of exp and also gain reputation from Trader which is important to have better shop item/ build hide out, more powerful gears/guns
At first modding quite hard to learn but later after you open Flea Market then you can use Edit preset to learn more about modding all kind of stuff

  4. Honestly it’s not that hard. Once you get a grasp of everything you’re good to go. I would say a lot of your problems modding weapons is you don’t have a lot of the attachments examined. They are a early mechanic quest that unlocks the weapon modding screen as well.

  5. Ok i lol'd at ammo types when dfaq has it been hard to open up a wiki and guns and attachments is also using the wiki or just inspecting the item it will show you compatibility with anything in your stash.

Your right about the maps and that's about it. For chads aim for the legs 30 rounds of 9mm are going to kill em and most chads still don't wear faceshields so aiming for head still works most of the time.

At lvl 1 you can't mod anything besides getting a red dot for the most part. with a ak @ lvl 1 u can mod it to use a laser pointer and red dot and a handgrip i believe.

i guess you could just have your covert skill be the highest skill you have which does make the game easier.

  6. As also a person that moved away from siege and jumped into tarkov I'm excited to see your journey. once you hit lvl 15 you will get the flee market and tarkov will truly open up. Stick with it and keep learning, you will truly appreciate that there is nothing else quite like Tarkov.

  7. Honestly am very happy to see you pick this up again. I love watching you play Siege, and a tactical mind like yours always flourishes in Tarkov. Don’t give up. 🙂 The game isn’t easy by any means, but that same difficulty is also what makes it feel so damn rewarding.

  8. Oh right, varsity, keep in mind when you started playing. There's server resets so the people who are geared with the best stuff stop dunking on new players, maybe you joined before one of those happened and everyone is kitted.

  9. For the guns you'll need to learn actual guns equipment, ammo, platforms. Thanks to USA #1 I got into the game already knowing the AR platform, for the other guns I needed to learn what ammo they used and how to kit them. Strange way to get a Canadian into guns

  10. Modding a weapon can be done without the flea market but is much harder to do. It’s quite easy though once you understand the link search and edit preset part. So with the weapon in your inventory right click it and hit edit preset. It will take you to the preset screen where all the attachments you have inspected for that particular weapon will be available for you to attach. Once you get it how you want it you can buy the parts and it will assemble it for you. Then you can save the preset so you don’t have to build it all over again. If you get out with a really good weapon you can save that in your preset so you don’t have to go through the hassle of building it yourself. To go a little further in depth you can link search off of things if you are trying to equip a suppressor or something but need the brake that will work. Link search the barrel or the suppressor and it’ll come up with all the attachments that go with them. Link search the specific thing that it goes with though don’t try to link search the gun if you’re looking for the mount for an optic for example. Link search the optic to find the right rail or mount. Hope that helps
