This is the definitive buying guide for Escape From Tarkov. EFT has more editions than just standard and Edge of Darkness (Left Behind Edition and Prepare for Escape Edition) but the vast majority of the playbase have either the base version called Standard, or the most expensive version, called Edge of Darkness or EoD.
I noticed that a lot of the videos on this topic on YouTube just go over what you get when you buy Edge of Darkness without really going into a proper analysis of whether those extra things are worth it or not, and so I decided to make this video.

Definitely best opinion on Edge of Darkness I've seen yet, personally I don't recommend it. For the extra price you could buy literally well over 10 other games if you budgeted correctly. Then there's the moral issue too, having different editions with in game advantages is something I personally find quite reprehensible and don't want to support, voting with your wallet as they say.
