1. How can you disparage SpongeBob references only because you don't understand them? I'm sorry but you're part of the minority who doesn't get them; I've had gen x, y, z, and alpha understand even minor references to the show. So it's not a "cringe millennial thing", it's a part of culture at this point the same way playing "Higher" by Creed will have an entire room singing.
