Hey Joe, before i forget, for your Bactria campaign, if you feel like not losing a settlement and you don’t want to lose it, you can always try to stuff your garrison in a dumb little space that is not designed for it, and the AI doesn’t simply know what to do – a break at fast forward can be used for a sandwich and a cup of coffee for example!
    Edit: remember that the dumb spot depends on a settlement, and not all have one; for example, at the greek unfortified settlement you can put the garrison to the tip of the peninsula (if u want to test in a custom battle, the Pontus port for grand campaign is the type of The settlement, same map has multiple locations)
    Ps: the modern location is basically in the very centre of the northern coast of Turkey
