How can it not have super heavy AP like the Iowa's? The North Carolina and South Dakota classes both fired the same 2,700 pound AP projectile as the Iowa's. In certain situations the 45 caliber gun was more effective with the 2,700 pound AP shell such as long range plunging fire because the shell would fall at a steeper rate than the 16 inch 50 caliber gun.

This map in a DD I like to push B right away. Everyone seems to try to sweep those islands by A, and a couple stragglers always go for the enemy cap. Perfect setup for amazing cross-torps. T5-6 Japanese destroyers especially. Torps on demand 😂
Only weakness is Armour, its tragic that ull get farm through you're super structure and randomly get citadeled while bow taking. Makes it trash and far as the gun they are great when RNG decides it and here lately you will over pen and or fall short

Saving up for the Suzuya, but I’m thinking about getting the Alabama over the Massachusetts as my next global ship after the Suzuya.
Now just add legendary mod as well, and you’ve probably got one of the most powerful battleships at T7.

Alabama is a cool ship. I’ve been in it in mobile, AL where the museum is. You can also see the US Drum (submarine) there.
I had my epic booster on Bama. I just acquired Mighty Mo so I took the Epic booster off Bama and onto Mo. I've had some pretty good games in Missouri, I just feel like Bama is a better fit for it.
I will give Mo a bit more opportunity, but I am already considering re-installing it on my Alabama.

I wish i hadn't spent my steel on commander xp i was wanting it to put it on my iowa and to citadel German bb and other ships with a turtleback amor at close range. Aim at the 1st turret and zoom in at aim a bit under the water or at the water line if they are angled
I love the Alabama, but it’s slight accuracy increase over the Massachusetts just doesn’t justify it being taken out of port for me 💁🏻♂️. I still Nuke everything with the Mass, and the secondaries eat dds alive.
When I saw that they made it where we can just convert the Epic mods and legendary to Ships with steel….I immediately went to Alabama because I know for a FACT that it will always Slap Ass
If anyone ever drove pass the Battleship park on the Bridge in Mobile Bay the Alabama is Hugh once you come up over that Bridge
