Check out what the morning of EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary looked like on October 1st 2022! The biggest surprise for me was the return of the original music loop from 1982! I had hoped that the Innoventions music loop would return for the day(I ended up adding that in myself for a minute lol) but getting that music back was awesome. You’ll also see some of the 40th merchandise they had in the Creations Shop. There was also a ceremony that took place in the America Gardens Theater. I wasn’t that impressed with it, but I wasn’t expecting a ceremony to happen at all, so I won’t complain lol. The best part of the anniversary celebration was definitely the special Beacons of Magic show on Spaceship Earth. I posted that separately last night(here is the link https://youtu.be/IraXaNR1vZQ )

40 years where did the time go, I wish that Jeremy Irons was still the voice of spaceship earth, I mean the way he performed that Scar and his voice alone he can practically sell things for Disney
✨Lessons learned seems to have made the 40th an awesome event. You're funny, you seem "meh" about the "ceremony"- maybe hurricane fatigue/past anniv. duds, but what would it made it top notch? I wish she had those 40th Anniv CMs go on stage & how the ambassadors said that festivals is what makes EPCOT, EPCOT (Wait. what?🤣🤣) Man, I would have loved to experience the entrance loop in person but you have me covered. Your fav. piece of merch bought was? & did you go to see if they added a tag to the fireworks? Tfs 4💜

The problem I have with EPCOT is that it looks and feels so 80s. Even the films in China and France are old. Epcot needs a major reimagineeting.

Though I didn’t get to visit many times, I loved when the entrance music was a preview of the attractions music!! Loved hearing they did this for the 40th anniversary. WOW. I do like my souvenirs…but that line for Creation Shop is crazy! Thank you for the Innoventions music!!! I love listening to this BGM loop!!! Yay!! Mariachi Cobre!!! Thank you for catching them!!!! (Ok…have to ask if the family waving at you know you??? 😊) That song from “Coco” just seems perfect for the World Showcase! Aaaahhhh! Voices of Liberty…so glorious a sound!! Oh!…Walt’s intro to his concept of EPCOT…I just tear up….
