Yay! Been waiting all week for this
I have over 3000 hours in the game and have never seen the animation for curing zombie spores.
could put the exosuits right outside of the bedrooms so that every task gets done in an exosuit
wow that achievment seems so crazy with 100 dupes…. guess the easiest way would be to kill all but one.. but yeah dont do that lol
saw the reddit thread about the thumbnails and now i'm curious how long it takes to make all the graphics. they are goofy over the top but also quite intricate so i imagine quite awhile for some of them.
a dupe died ?????
EDIT: it happened last episode actually
EDIT 2: is it because they were in space actually?
maybe an idea would be to create a giant series of rooms with only one entrance/exit with atmosuits where dupes need to build/deconstruct drywall? i'm imagining at least 50 spaces per room, maybe 4 rooms like that, so that as soon as one room is done and they start moving on to the next, you can tell them to deconstruct all the previous drywall.
i have no idea if that would work, and maybe putting exosuits outside their bedrooms would be the more surefire solution (although very oxygen intensive), but who knows! it's an idea at least
Do the wheels count as a task for the achievement? If they do you can put some suit banks in front of those so they dont disrupt the achievement progress.
My usual "They Got Better" event is a dupe who gave themselves food poisoning eating a curative tablet I got out of the printing pod and never put away.
Its possible to get 6K temperature by using AETN. So this achievement could be done at low-tech.
As for suits achievement, you can force dupes to just always wear suits, by putting checkpoints for the bedrooms.
Could you set it up for all of them to run on wheels in suits?
13:13 the dude who invented the toilet after he invented the toilet
Should add more steam turbine on the geovents
I've never done it with 100 dupes but the easiest task to queue up for the exosuit achievement is large swaths of drywall. Both building and deconstructing count as errands for the achievement. Make sure everyone is capable of construction.
With 100 dupes, it might help to partition them off into groups. Each group would go through their own dock leading to a drywall "hall". The UI is clunky but you might be able to manage this with door allowances. With 100, I'd just fully separate them to avoid all that scrolling.
Could have a small room for each dupe, that the door only allows one specific dupe to pass, then you can have a single task in each one that you can assign each day with top priority.
Would let you assign 1 task they all have to do, without needing to dedicate a whole day of all dupes to doing it, and if one misses, you can see which task is left undone, and tell who missed by the door.
FWIW, mopping counts as an errand, as well as emptying a bottle. I found that to be the easiest way for me to get this achievement (with separate rooms for groups of dupes to perform these tasks, one day mopping, next day emptying what they mopped).
lol i keep forgetting ur playing the base game, rocketry is so scuffed without spaced out
my suggestion for the exosuit achievement that will also solve power issues: make 50 hamster wheels that can only be accessed by putting on an exosuit, and make the dupes schedules split so 50 dupes run on the wheel for a few time blocks, then stop, and the next 50 come in and run for the rest of the day by flipping the work and recreation time options from the 2 schedules!
Is there a reason youre trying to accomplish the errand task with recreation buildings? seems like a hard thing to force them to do
Mag did you see some of the challenge ideas I commented on one of your vids in this series, just wondering your thoughts on them
I wonder if 100 "gyms" would have been easier than showering.
