  1. The tenacity, ingenuity, and resolve of the American people is often underestimated. The Japenese Empire totally screwed up when they attacked the U.S. We are often slow to get angry, but when we do we are determined and can be without mercy if provoked. The military leaders had their heads up their rear ends at best. I feel the religous ferver and lack of civilian leadership cause this mess and could only end in mass destruction due to their attitudes. What goes around comes around in spades.
