From the spiritually dark palaces of the cruel and oppressive Pharaoh of Egypt comes a woman whose belief in God gave her eternal reprieve and bliss with a home near the Most High.

Asiyah bint Muzahim, who raised Musa (as) when Allah caused his basket to float to the Pharoah’s home, was a woman of unparalleled courage, faced with the cruelest of torture and ridicule. And yet she stood firm in belief, hopeful in Allah, and persevering in the face of adversity, leaving her with a beautiful status and reward, eternally preserved in the Qur’an and upheld by Allah Himself.

  3. Subhanallah I've so much to say, first off thank you Yaqeen institute for making these videos, they're produced beautifully, the way the material is being taught in an easy-to-digest and in a manner that at some point we could find ourselves nodding along to the degree of relatability. Now ofcourse alhamduliah none of us for the most part, are tortured for holding onto our faith in such a brutal manner except for some muslims who are still to this day persecuted for their faith, may Allah make it easier for them. Secondly, I had never heard the story of Asiya (RA) in so much detail so this was such an eye opener because I never that she was tortured by firuon in such brutal way. Alhamduliah now I know some things. What I can take away is that at times there are some things that could mean the end of comfort because we want to earn the pleasure of Allah so in such situations where we give up something for Allah's sake is not our loss despite it appearing as such. Infact it could be a way of us earning Jannah and getting something much much much better than in return. Jazakallah may allah make it easier for all of us.

  4. So the pharaoh decided to adopt baby Musa AS despite knowing that he could be the child that grows up to take over his power ?Was it out out of love for his barren wife? But then murders her years later ? So his archetype is the abusive narcissist husband, who energetically feeds from his victims. And his daughter who snitched on the hairdresser is no better. But even today there are So many modern day stories of husbands killing their wives out of rage. And many women live afraid of their man that one wrong move will result in abuse or murder. 😢

  5. Alhamdullilah. I was almost in tears when I recognized all the stories connecting, Allah is the best of all planners. As a convert, sometimes it's hard to understand what all the translations mean but this video did a beautiful job and I'm so happy to found the right path to Allah.

  6. Alhamdulillah, I'm a revert too and ha e had my fair share of difficulty from other Muslims when I wanted to dön the hijaab and later the niqaab, people say hurtful things. but looking back now that is long gone and Allah brings ease. at times you feel very alone and lonely, take that time as alone time with your Rabb, I think it's by design that we have that time to be with Allah, If I'd known that back then, I don't think I would have had that much grief, but Allah knows best. I heard about Aasiyah RA early on and so when my daughter was born I named her Aasiyah, she is 6 years old today Alhamdulillah
