  2. Environmentalists and bush clearing for 17,000 wind towers just doesn’t make sense. Farmers, people living on the land ….. they are the environmentalists, not the ones sitting in their pretty offices planning total destruction.

  3. Based on a great 2021 Scottish paper called "Leading edge erosion and pollution from wind turbine blades", this could result in over 1000 metric tons of microplastics annually being dispersed into our air and oceans.

  4. Wind generation costs increase massively as capacity grows. At least in the UK, all generation is paid for, and when it is surplus to demand it must be discarded. This can cost far more then the power actually sent to the consumer.

  5. Poor old rural people getting wind farms. It will ruin the environment if the rural poeople hadnt been there rooting it first. Great Barrier Reef nearly killed by sugär cane, cotton nearly destroyed the Murray Darling, ,coal mines poisoned fitzroy river, huge native vegetation clearing with bulldozers and chains, one of the worlds worst environmental disasters, loss of habitat for wildlife, murders of l arge numbers of indigenous people. Rural people have a huge hide with bs concern for the environment.

  6. The toxicity involved in manufacturing this worthless garbage is unbelievable and we're supposed to believe these clowns care about the environment. Climate change is probably the biggest hoax in recorded history.

  7. F…that & F….nuclear were in a cost of living nightmare.
    Go back to basics.
    Cost-effective black coal fired powerstations.

What we can afford, not what we can't.
STOP being dictated to by other countries & their rhetoric

The 2 biggest polluters are China & India.
    Australia
Is fast becoming a 3rd world because of our government.
    Labor Liberals & the Greens.

Our bottomless pit of foreign debt is growing.
Other countries in charge of our own resources selling them back to us like Japan selling our own gas back to us at a profit & they pay no tax.

Our government are idiots or corrupt your choice.

  8. Wind and solar must double by 2030 and grow by 600% by 2050 if Australia is to reach net zero. Let that sink in.
Batteries and Hydro must grow by 700% in the next 6 years and 16 times by 2050 if Australia is to reach net zero. Let that sink in.
Bowen and Environment Minister Plibersek have allowed 1 Million Hectares of flora and fauna to be destroyed for 1/6th of requirement to reach 85% renewable target. Let that sink in.

  9. Wind farms and solar panels – environmental vandalism at an unprecedented scale – imagine being so stupid that you think putting 260 m high wind turbines off the NSW coast is a cheap way to generate electricity – ask any boat owner about the cost of running and maintaining their boat in salt water.
