I would have SUED her and her family for raising someone that was so stupid and take her teaching license away for life and the school district too and the school and put the teacher in jail life
I was a diabetic for 27 years. If I had been that kid, I would NOT have been as calm as they were. Thankfully, I didn't have to deal with stuff like that as I didn't become diabetic until I was 18 and only a few months from graduation, If I had been the parent in this situation, I might have spent a few days in jail!
Oh god, the first story reminds of the school one of my former friends went to. It was a so called âprivateâ school where the building was literally converted from what probably used to be someoneâs house. They had weird names for things like for example the the monkey bars on âtheirâ playground were called the Xavier bars. Then there were the teachers who would sit on the kids as an alternative to a traditional detention.
The first story made me so damn angry. Even if it was a pair of headphones you're still destroying someone else property.

how this person could be a teacher ? without insulin our body will simply die, its not a thing we could make some mental effort to live without. Type 1 Diabetes, would kill people in few hours without insulin.
Seems like attempted murder to me.
That's why i don't recommend too much sugar, there is always that one teacher.

1st story is funny to me in a way because i found exact same story from the teachers perspective.
She can say whatever she wants it wouldn't matter if it was headphones. She's not allowed to destroy property period.
Why is 2 so relatable
Story 3, definitely a narcissistic personality. Even if it's subtle, it's still someone being 100% a narcissist, and being hurt in the past doesn't excuse the behavior now. Even if it seems like there's not many red flags to you, there are a ton of red flags to me.
If I was one of the other kids in that class in story 1, that teacher would wish she had never been born.

So I have a friend who has T1D, and I know how serious this is in story 1. If he lived like an hour away, it could have lead to actually hospitals being called. That is awful what that teacher did.
First story: I donât care if a teacher says, âNo headphonesâ! Sheâs destroying other peoplesâ property!

Honestly, your own personal conclusions about the second story bothers me just a bit.
I don't know exactly why, but it gives me the feel that you don't exactly comprehend the situation, and have really little information about what causes these emotional outbursts in a man which clearly undergone some severe psychological traumas during the course of their life.
It isn't that they do it in purpose, nor entitled adult ass tantrums as how it feels you wanted to dismiss, it simply goes beyond their own control.
The matter is way deeper of what you're imagining, that's why he needs some psychological assistance.
I would not call story 2 emotional abuse he never really directs it as his partner although it would be good for him to get therapy however if itâs troubling op so much they may very well consider leaving. But it is NOT emotional abuse

I can fully sympathise with the wife in the last story. I fucking hate work. Iâve had some decent jobs too, and am currently in a very specialist role that I had to work hard to get, but I absolutely hate it.
Was that at Lynhurst ninth and 10th grade Center that that happen the insulin pump because I remember teacher told me something like that she sat there and well she didnât sit there she was doing something or like teaching something I donât know when out of no where a teacher just walked up to him and cut the insulin pump thinking that it was headphones

I have Charcotmarietooth which is a disease like thing but is passed by genetics and it's type 2 and my teachers had no idea why I was like how it effects your body it weakens muscles and effects nerves for both legs feet arms hands so this reminds me plus I'm 12 now and do homeschool instead of normal school like I did before so this makes sense because I know how diseases can be like for people to have problems with life because of there diseases

Story #1 as a person with a insulin pump, HOW TF CAN YOU MISTAKE AN INSULIN PUMP FOR A FRIGGIN MP3 PLAYER AND HEADPHONES!!!???? That teacher needs to learn some manners, and go back to school herself.
There was someone missing from that school meeting – law enforcement and/or a prosecuting attorney.
Of course she was really apologetic- she was terrified. She could have completely ruined her life.
As a diabetic that teacher wouldâve been dead (by me) and I wouldâve sued and wouldâve gotten her attempted murder

Story 2 doesnât sound like emotional abuse. Emotional abuse is non-physical behaviour MEANT to control, isolate or frighten someone else. Itâs doesnât sound like the partner is trying to frighten OP but that they lack control over their heightened emotional responses. Unfortunately, since OP has stated that they donât have the willingness or ability to deal with their partnerâs behaviour without becoming upset, they should probably break up. OPâs partner probably needs intensive therapy to overcome their past trauma and learn to overcome their destructive behaviour before they hurt themselves or others.
oh man the second story…. i fear im a bit like that. at least im aware and when i feel it coming on i tell my husband and go for a walk or write in my journal. when there are issues in a relationship like that communication is best
In the first story, that abusive, criminal teacher should have been sued and criminally charged. I would sue the school as well. I have seen teachers like that, and they should not be anywhere near children.
If what they are trying to prove is that you could choose to die instead, they were working on it.
I'll be honest by the time my mom got done with the teacher there wouldn't be enough left to ask for a refund from I was an idiot as a child plain and simple ADHD wasn't a thing back then so I was the problem child then you did not get on my mother's bad side she would have been taking home that teacher and a doggy bag and then coming after the board of education as well as upper management in the school for the main course I only saw it a couple of times yeah wow.

Even if the teacher thought it was earphones, what kind of sane person would just up and cut someoneâs technology out of the blue? Like, I paid for that. Itâs my property. You can take and confiscate it, but no way in hell you can cut it. I would have rioted.
First story: If I'd been that student's parent, I would've not only gone off on this teacher, but pressed charges and had her fired as well, and you bet your ass I'd threaten to sue. Absolutely no excuse to destroy someone's private property, regardless of what it is. Those parents showed much more mercy than I would have if my child was put in danger like that.
