Metal scraps can also be found mine mining cage pieces and other larger metal objects. Scavengers arent the only source of metal scraps

Using the builder mode, then terrain objects, just right click any piece of terrain with the shape object you wanna use and it morphs the terrain around it. You won’t get resources from it but it allows for super fast tunnel digging or making caves for homes.
i made a server , played on it a bit then joined a friend on his server , went back and all my stuff id made was gone, what did i do wrong?
