  1. So's ya'll know, the Dungeon Theme is an arrangement of The Tower of Zot from FF4. This dungeon is a reference to FF4. Without Spoilers, FF4 is the FF that EW draws a lot from.

Also, the Magus Sisters are based on the original Yoshitaka Amano art for them in FF4, and each wields the weapon they hold in the art. The FF4 sprites are MOSTLY faithful to the art with some color changes. The original names are Sandy, being the oldest and the tallest originally. Cindy, being the fat one, is the middle sister. Mindy is the youngest sister. In FF10, they appear as a hidden summon for Yuna that takes a lot of work to unlock. In FF10, they're insect themed, with Sandy being in a mantis costume, Cindy in a ladybird beetle (ladybug… except they're not true bugs, hence the CORRECT name used outside of the aside), and Mindy dressed as a yellowjacket wasp. In 10, they can't be directly issued commands, with Yuna instead offering suggestions of what to do and their AI ultimately making the choice.

The main mechanic of the order you kill them in is kept. I won't spoil it other than the kill order does matter.

  2. Broke my heart, but I don't blame you for forgetting them. I don't know if anyone told you guys afterward, but the Magus Sisters are the summon from FF10.

Also fun fact, but Sandurva does the infamous removed DRG move referred to as "the pole dance". It's the short jump and twirl on her spear, which its classic, and still very irritating when spammed, noise.

  3. Kyle's comment about Fandaniel/Amon's VA being 'gross' make sense to me, I think it's definitely on purpose, because the Japanese VA is the same. I dislike the JP VA's voice but he's also a really good voice actor (and well known in the industry in Japan), he has that grating voice that you hate but makes sense for the character which is really good.

  4. The thing I love the most about the Magus Sister delta attack is that it serves 3 purposes: It's a wake-up call for those who are more casual about the game that things are about to get real, it's a good warm up for hardcore people with a Bozja CE level boss right off the bat, and nostalgia bait for those who played FF4.

Back when Endwalker launched, I played this dungeon as BLM with duty support. I refuse to elaborate how many times I had to do this final fight, because on duty support, if you die, the fight restart. You are forced to learn the mechanics, and the NPC healers do not cast anything while the mechs are going out.

  5. I spent half this video laughing my ass off at how totally wrong their cooking was. Half the time I'd be laughing "those things are totally not related you're hunting for connections that don't exist."

  6. Let's see if I get every NPC that is job dependent during the big meeting.
A-Ruhn Senna (White Mage) and Stephanivien (machinist) seem to always be available to talk to. However they have custom dialogue of if you have the jobs. A-Ruhn even has voiced custom dialogue referencing the player's white magedness.
If am not sure about Rostik (gunbreaker) but he at least seems to have custom dialogue for gunbreakers who finished the job questline.
Then we have Sanson and Guydelot for bard, Chuchuto for pugilist, Cocobuki for thaumaturge, Alka Zolka for Scholars, Broenbhar for marauders and Sir Alberic for dragoon.
    Did I miss someone?
