Endoparasitic is a game where you have a really, REALLY bad day at the lab. There’s a horrible outbreak, you’ve just had the majority of your limbs removed, and also there is a big ol’ parasite inside of you. Regardless, you’re gonna soldier on and get to the bottom of this and find out who caused this mess before humanity as we know it ends.

  1. Eiii I really need to play that game since I already have it in my steam library

though, Charl, remind me did you ever did a Wrought Flesh review? I liked it but I think the Sands of Cumulon basically locking you into multiple tight corridors was a bad design choice.

  2. Idk if you will ever see this but seeing your cat makes my miserable life better and it helps me keep going and continue the fight. keep up the good work and greetings from my shit country turkey.

  3. You ought to check out Tunguska: The Visitation for a future Indieween; it's a very competent top-down shooter directly inspired by STALKER. Impressively, the dev is still very active on its forums, answering questions, fixing bugs, and taking suggestions (almost on par with Brian Lancaster of Brigand: Oaxaca fame). More impressively, it's all done by a single man.

  4. Its been really fun watching endoparasitic be nothing more than a concept for a game that a developer had and released a short about to something noteworthy enough for you to talk about.

  5. Watching speedruns of endoparasitic feels surreal. The sight of a legless and one-armed cripple slithering on the floor with inhuman speed and popping nearby monsters with precision feels hilarious and scary at the same time.

  6. For anyone with either Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or a Repetitive Strain Injury, this game is practically kryptonite.

My arm feels sore just watching you fumble with the crossbow reloading. I'm not sure if it's purposefully designed this way or just a case of poorly designed hit-boxes/detection, but it really seems like something that shouldn't be as difficult as it is, considering that the interfaces for the rest of the game seem pretty reliable for the most part.
