I'd never played as the Vaulters, it's interesting that their faction ability allows you to have a disconnected empire while the cooldown on colonization incentivizes you to comb the galaxy for the best systems however far apart they are. I really miss that kind of loopy asymmetry that opens up and encourages very different playstyles whenever I play Humankind.
