  1. My main gripe with this game is honestly the music; you can’t expect your OST to be praised if it all just has one melody to work with. It just shows how lazy the compositions were despite the selection of genres. You’ve already pointed out other things that left much to be desired.

  2. I was looking forward to the game until i forgot an i saw it on steam so a buyed it 3/10 the sound board is missing idk where the sound is and the bosses are mid except the final one.

    not worth 3 years of waiting.

  3. The trailers made the animations of the bosses A LOT smoother than they were in the final version. That and there is little to no sound effects for enemies and bosses and only just the music plays just makes it boring.

  4. This looks like a prototype for cuphead than a game inspired by it. Every animation frels like it doesnt have enough life in it, in cuphead everything had life and everything looked old yet had enough polish to tell you this game is a modern game inspired by the past. This games art…feels off to me, it isnt bad but the weapons look like they could use more polish with how fast they all fire. The backgrounds don't feel like their from a past cartoon it all just feels really off.

  5. I have a theory that ALL of the budget went into the animation to look like Cuphead. But even so that can’t be true because some animations look terrible and not smooth at all like the jungle stage

  6. Small team or not: the fact that what's in the game is the same stuff we saw 3 GOD DAM YEARS AGO with no changes is appalling. The only thing the early trailers didn't show were the very badly designed levels so if your telling that what had them hung up for 3 years, you should rethink game development.

  7. Cuphead was hard yes BUT you got power-ups to help you, parry and dash AND can see where you were in a boss fight. All thoses features were cool and useful. There's also the invincibility frame who's really important in those type of games. In enchanted portal, you got none of that and no explanation about the weapons. If the game is too hard, it's not fun! If the bosses barely moves it's not interresting to look at 😐I saw 4 lets plays of this game and found the fights boring. All the bosses have one attack, they don't move a lot and the smaller enemies are difficult to avoid. The most painful thing is there no invicibility frame. That's so cruel! The developpers likes to see their customers suffers or what?

  8. I can’t help but wonder if the game design was neglected for the animation. The game has a really small team so it’s easy to question if one aspect was favoured over another.

  9. Honestly i was so excited for this cause i loved cuphead and i would really like a game with awesome boss designs. Bur now that they made a shadow release with no save files, bad audio and bad sound effects and shit controls with shit gameplay and THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE IT 20 DOLLARS NAH I DONT THINK THIS GAME IS SAVEABLE

  10. I honestly thought they were done for because of the crowdfunding failure but had a little hope. And it actually came out better than i expected. Not to the point I wanna buy it tho
