  1. 36:02 – I think a reasonable story solution is to just say that hyperdrive technology has advanced in the interim period that makes the interdictor mines ineffective.

Did the descriptions of the planets change to post-Imperial descs after Order 66?

  2. @SorcererDave I love your intro segments. You are a talented storyteller, and you have shown me how to see Empire At War from a different perspective. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

  3. I feel Tarkin should be upgraded to ISD if possible. It may be less effective in a resource management setting, but there's no way Tarkin would see these Big Dumb Death Triangles rolling off the line without snagging one for himself.

  4. Zsinj is one of those characters who is more interesting on how she died. Her son not only killed her/was directly responsible for her death, I forget the exact details, but he also nicked an SSD, called himself a Grand Admiral and was the primary imp antagonist of that worst of all pieces of Star Wars media, "The Courtship of Princess Leia" after serving as the primary baddie in the second half of the X-Wing series of novels.

  5. Loooooove this series and the intros!!! If I could be a proper backseat gamer maybe garrison the phase 1 clones for defence on conquered worlds? In this series cannon it’s like they’re effectively PDF armour for the clones if you get it 🙂

  6. Hey Dave! love your videos, especially the expositive intros you've written in lately. I wanted to mention a mechanic of SWEaW that may help you in future, as i see you struggling to get your large, slow ships, like your Praetors, to face the way you want them to. did you know that if you select the ship, hold right click near the center of the unit circle and drag in a direction so that a green arrow appears, then release right click, that sets the direction you want the ship to face? It's very helpful! keep up the good work, can't wait to see the rebellion chapter!
