Emirates reportedly targets a deal with Airbus or Boeing for a next-generation freighter for its SkyCargo division. Meanwhile, the airline reported its best-ever result for six months amid rising demand across its global network. Boom Supersonic has also posted several crucial updates surrounding its upcoming Overture, demonstrator and factory where the plane will be produced. Alongside this, Air India has partnered with Alaska Airlines to enhance its connectivity across North America.

  1. Quite exciting to see whether or not Emirates jump with the A350F, soon available, or with the B777F, bigger but available later…my guess is a mix of both…split with first the Airbus then the Boeing…

  2. A350f is pretty much ready, the 777xf has not been passed yet. No brainier. Then once the 777x does start to fly you have to see what safety features Boeing don’t tell purchasers/pilots about.

I wonder what will be certified first – Boom or 77X? 🤣😅🥳 I think it’s the EIS for the new generation Freighter being a major factor and given that EK Cargo is a major and growing part of the Group I doubt that they are going to wait for the 778F given that they are already waiting on their 779’s. It’s upto Airbus to ensure that they get the A35F certified with as little delay as possible.

  4. EK still looking for more of the latest and greatest. Arajet is truly testing the limits of narrow body aircraft. If they can go down to EZE then they can do the rest of S.A. easily.
