I'm betting that Claire somehow got off the ship and went back to Ark LOBOS – She was the one obsessed with how valuable it was, and lobo means wolf, so maybe there's a kind of trickery or backstabbing involved?
I'm probably wrong, but want it on the record here! If I were writing a story like this, that's a plot twist I would set up early.

I'm not going to say anything about the sadness of the escape pod scene, but damn. That was almost hard to listen to. It says so much about the quality of the voice acting.
I love the look of mars in this. It has that kind of desolate beauty that's often hard to capture. But the mix of color, rock texture, and light weather with wind and thin clouds was exactly what I was hoping for.
As soon Kathy and Claire expressed their love and respect to each other, I should've known shit was going to hit the fan 😭
I suppose the situation at 24min is exactly why the escape pod auto deploy sequence cannot be aborted.
I like this game, but the parachute flopping around at 27min broke my immersion.
Mars has a very thin atmosphere and a breeze would not inflate the parachute.
I also expected Kathy to be injured or killed when crossing the energy transmission beams, but that is excusable from a gameplay perspective.
Really smart and extremely purposeful people plus a dictatorship bring marvellous results. But not for long. I suspect these outwardians weren't hit by some natural disaster or technological problem.
Claire is an adult, she chose her own path , there's no talking her out. Remember they had an argument ? I'm sure that's not their first or last . If they weren't father & daughter , I'm sure they will be beating each other up. So Isaac focuses on Kathy who needs more care .
