  1. Honestly, probably one of the best of these "pro drummer plays different genre" videos. The part works so well, grooves hard, but, best of all, I can still hear the Sepultura in it which is WILD and truly a testament to how professional and creative Eloy is.

  2. Eloy studied brazilian music through his career, so when it comes to him being a metal drummer, having to learn such music, it’s not far off of his knowledge, the man is a beast, he didn’t jump right into metal drumming, he had classes with a lot of different teachers to get there.

  3. Yeah, love seeing a complete and utter musician doing his thing.
    Eloy is definitely amongst my top two metal drummers out there and mostly known for his prowess as a metal drummer, but I'm pretty convinced he could just adapt to and do pretty much anything pretty effortlessly – including the dreaded jazz. (;
