I would worry that Mars doesn't have a rotational molten core anymore so supporting life there would be difficult at best.
So they want to turn Mars into a second Earth. first of all find plants that need little water to survive then send them to Mars and land them in some of the deep canyons, then plant them into protected areas and watch them hopefully grow and produce oxygen 7-8 mile below the upper surface (increased CO mass for the plants to survive . Who knows worth a try might work!
So I'm supposed to believe that Elon musk is attempting to build cutting edge non petroleum vehicles. Tesla drove a car that used electromagnetic org energy from the either . The vehicle had an antenna on it and never required charges.

A little BULSHIT here , it’s not the atmosphere nor the weather nor the lack of easy to come by water , that prevents our colonization. ITS A POSTULATED FACT THAT MARS HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE MOON , The lack of a strong magnetosphere , sporadic as it is varying between 1;50 to 1/500 earth normal . Also any water that Mars had that isn’t locked in ice , or the planets crust , was long blown away by solar radiation due to its gravity and lack of magnetosphere .no magnetosphere a weak gravity no ionosphere and no Van Alan belt means we can only survive in shielded habitats ! Or to venture outside in shielded space suits .

Science is the reverse engineering of God's Creation. We should be careful how we use it. Part of me thinks it could be considered either theft or magic by Holy interpretation. But I am also aware that Science has given some very useful and healthy answers to our problems. The Human race is in the midst of the most devastating case of multiple personality disorder ever witnessed and perhaps that is not our fault. There is life on every planet alien and human in this solar system, NASA is a joke notice every planet they take pics of are blurry, grey and brushed out! They are so full of ship, it's unbelievable. The telescopes they have can actually take super clear pics of every planet, but they give us these blurry pics that you cant tell what the fudge is on these planets. If you take a jewelry loop and look closely at the pics they do have, you will see structures and highways on these planets.
