  1. What are the long-term implications of this technology? Will the brain evolve to do things (or not do things) that the Neuralink does more effectively?

My question is similar to the question of how social media heavily affects how children socialise in modern society, or how smart devices have altered attention-levels and even sleep schedules in adults. It’s not a jab at the tech, as it obviously has some benefits, but I wonder if the long term effect on a wider population will be beneficial.

  2. This is so incredibly scary. This is worse than watching the nuclear bomb being invented. I'm sure the motivation is the best, but we can't guarantee this will not be used for the worst: super soldiers, torture, etc. AI can be scary, but this is even scarier. Let's just hope they don't connect this to the internet, hacking your head would not be fun, and no, they can't guaranty it will be 100% safe. Imagine Meta hacking your head, so you want to buy their products, or a president party hacking your head, so you vote him. I know the technology is very far from that, but they will never know when to stop. Money will always speak louder, it will lead us to extinction.

  3. I said it last time and it's poignant again here, there is a lack of team here, the neurolink team seems disjointed and don't have the essence of conviction that Elons other endeavours do. I feel this is what is slowing down the process, too many newbies, not enough collective movement in action. If this can make Michael Schumacher better, then that would be amazing. If this becomes a hacker's playground, then it's a nitemare. Having an external battery charger could be an extreme vulnerability. It is most likely come to pass already but delay in open disclosure until reset fully advanced. Stay well.

  4. “I actually think — and I might be slightly optimistic on this — I actually think that within two years you’ll be able to summon your car from across the country,” Musk said. “Let’s say you’re in New York and your car is in Los Angeles. It will find its way to you and meet you wherever your phone is. 5. DONT TRUST ELON MUSK. Take it from me, not a single person in human history has a bigger God-complex. Pay attention to Twitter. He kicked Kanye out while talking about free speech. He is the shiftiest most untrustworthy person I have ever hac the misfortune of knowing

  6. The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in Gold, silver and digital currencies(BTC, ETH..).

  7. Would Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse benefit from from having a telepathic citizenry? All too Science fiction to be true? (Using Elon Musk's brain -computer interface would enable one way telepathy whereby the involuntary patients thoughts can be read but not their handlers. The Scientist/handlers can have communicate with the involuntary patient using a closed communication system such as that which employs an Israeli Style Sound Beam technology.) Involuntary patients might be dissenters.
