Asking the "right" question yields the advance of society, not necessarily the goal of society. Q: where are the aliens? A: please state your definition of "aliens". Advanced knowledge? A demonstration of advaned knowledge? These being different. Ex: substance X is useful for such actions (knowledge), however, substance X does not exist within present timeframe. So, unavailable and without demonstration of knowledge. Therefore, the knowledge will not be "considered" advanced, but always preceeds the demonstration. Conclusion is, aliens think like aliens and create/develop new things for advancement.
Perhaps the greatest of alien knowledge is utilizing the availability of new ideas.
If so, aliens, or the effects of aliens, is more plentiful than the commercialism of an idea. Aliens aren't in it for the money. Their comfort level isn't monetary/physical. But, it may contain a sort of time travel, "being ahead of it's time".
Can you recognize the aliens? Aliens can recognize other aliens. However, stating you can recognize aliens will lead to hardship, unless your audience has no power/no effect.
Historically, aliens have suffered at the hands of societal rule. This creating the problem of introducing ideas without hardship blowback. Trying to dismantle the deep state (Continuity Of Gevernment), the COG will fight back. Always has, always will.

I want to talk about capitalism and how it relates/equates to "success". The United States, for example has a deteriorating infrastructure mostly because of capitalism. Boeing can't consistently produce reliable aircraft or get humans safely to and from our moon because of capitalism and so on…What is the next plan from our Guru. There must be another way to get humans to do stuff. We would not have a clue if it were not for Elon Musk. We would be no where. He is able to put all of our knowledge together. What ever his feelings are-they belong to him. He is a human being-after all.
Our infrastructure was wrong to begin with and it was furthered because of capitalism, dirty green paper and petrol. Everyone needed to have a motor vehicle to bring their kids to Disney Land. Where are we going-with capitalism. Mr. Donald Trump? Does a black Tesla go down the road quicker than a white one . I'm just looking for the logic.
Or maybe we don't see the aliens because were too slow. We are really slow. Have you ever watched a 787 lumber down the runway. It takes forever.
We need to get off this planet. We have been here for far too long. There is so much to see and explore. Far beyond our calculations.

I agree that Elon Musk is fulfilling his purpose in this life very well, since his agreement with the "guys from the Galactic Federation", and I think he is becoming increasingly wise, and doing what he can to help humanity, and whoever we can at any time and hour is very gratifying, and it changes everything in us, around us, and the world becomes lighter and more fluid, and he already does this in a grand way, for which we are very grateful. But as for the "aliens"… Oh, come on! Ahahahahah… I'm going to pretend to believe him, and I believe he must have a strong reason to say so, otherwise he suffered MK Ultra to not remember who he is, where he came from, and what he is doing here!
