Elon Musk sues OpenAI, saying it abandoned its mission to serve humanity

Elon Musk has sued ChatGPT-maker OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, saying they abandoned the startupโ€™s original mission to develop artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity and not for profit. Musk alleged a breach of contract, saying Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman originally approached him to build an open-source, non-profit company when they launched in 2015, but the startup is now focused on making money.

  1. Best of luck to Musk. I may not agree with him on everything, but this is one of those few things I am definitely behind him on. Microsoft gets away with F'ing around far too often.

  2. A ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข bad ๏ผ† nasty๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข retired director from General Dynamics, previously worked in San Diego, probably more than 85 yrs old now, is abusing US Gov's monitoring satellite to harass normal US civilians, inside USA & all over the world for his own entertainment & amusement.

These remote sensors of the monitoring satellites are capable of interpreting the words you're thinking in your mind, may be, by air vibration or by scanning the brainwaves from your brain.

The Israeli IDF are using similar satellite technologies to spy on the Hamas leadership hiding deep inside the Gaza Tunnels. IDF once released footage of these videos in much degraded resolution.

This could also have been the way how our intelligence services obtained classified information on Xi Jinping's missile deployment within China.

This retired General Dynamics director could have been the mastermind behind the plane crash killing the Secretary of Commerce Ronald Brown of the Clinton Administration, in the plane crash in 1996 in Croatia.

The United States as we learned and studied in American high school does not exist anymore; it has been destroyed.

United States have been dead. American citizens don't have human rights.

This retired Director of General Dynamics is indeed a national disgrace of the United States.

If this America disgrace wants to harrass any American civilian, he just puts this American into our Gov. blacklist for monitoring, and he can harass this American civilian.

  3. Are brain implants legal? Is a human recall treated like a Tesla failure recall for numerous accidents and fatalities? Fail and have the cheek to ask for 55.8B?

Elon's X spread AI'd puppy rescue photos edited to include be-headed babies to blame on Hammas. American man then stabs 6-year-old Palestinian boy 26 times.

54 years after Apollo 11, SpaceX blew up two unmanned rockets. My neighbours blew up two unmanned rockets last week.

  4. Thank you CBC for being a benificent benefactor of public expression. Occasionally you allow us commenting privileges. It helps remind us that freedom of expression is never fully permissible, nor a basic right.

  5. It's remarkable that this is being reported as wrong as it is.

The deal between Microsoft and Open AI was that Microsoft would only get benefit up to the point that open a eye created AGI. AGI is human level intelligence. Pink data from Star Trek.

The lawsuits specifically alleges that open AI achieved AGI.

Not mentioning this while talking about the lawsuit would be like not mentioning a car crash while talking about the wreckage.

Do you people even read or care about reading the easily accessible information before you report on it?
