  1. I was waiting for Alpha Tech this morning…
Watched the full talk on another channel…

Tell Elon we love him, but he needs to use note cards in his public speaking to smooth it out and flow better for the non Aspies…
Nice seeing him being a regular human though. 🤣

He went out of his way to be appreciative of NASA, so maybe we'd better lighten up on them some, if they are seriously helping… 🤭

And Elon was happy, but somewhat cryptic about upcoming upgrades, so I suspect way more than cosmetics. I think he feels really secure now about where engine developement is heading. Way different guy than a couple three years ago when the engine complication had him staring down the barrel of bankruptcy of his beloved company.
He couldnt say much of course, keeping cards to his chest, cant let Jeffie's guys learn too much too soon!
They need a good shock to knock them into the next paradigm!

One thing I was thinking about yesterday, was a falcon replacement using methane and the new engines, also more fabrication. For faster reuse due to cleaner engines. And give us a system for smaller payloads in the future to fill in between the big supply ships. So we dont get Pitcairn syndrom.
Was glad to hear Elon talking about a Lunar Colony… its assuring knowing he is into it and gonna help.

I suspect it will be the Lunar mines and fuel, and early production of materials from lunar resources that goes over the hump on Mars Colony with its assistance. way more feasible to manufacture on the Moon to support Mars Colony, than try to lift the same tonnage out of Earth's gravity well.

Lunar industrialization should be a priority for Mars, Also be the first off Earth Starship production facility. So we can design for Lunar to Mars gravity wells, and take a little beef off the ships used from Earth up and out.

Savings would mean more resources faster for Mars advancement.

Another system that might be worth thinking about is making glass on Moon and Mars so we can do hex greenhouses and start glassing in large sections of both for agriculture. basically we need to work on archetectual designs, where the city is bored into the bed rock, the tailings used on top as blast absorber for asteroid strikes, and then the vertical shafts connect into large hex shaped green houses, that are isolated from each other by airlocks for emergencies.

This way the city could use solar to have plants and trees purify air and water. with lakes in the greenhouses evaporating water, and it being collected on the glazing and led to the perimeters and piped into storage tanks for the city or town. Also would be good to start thinking about Lunar and Mars permaculture. you arent going to want to plow up soil made from regoliths. Also the lakes could be used for aqua culture, with manual fishing being the harvest method, to get people out of their tunnels and recreation. Sure kids on the moon would love having lakes, tree swings into them, and fish to catch… Would also likely be temperature controlled enough to use ornamental tropical fish, making snokeling something magic.

Also Lunar Colonies could make methane with waste products, and oxygen from mining and processing ores into metals, salvaging the oxides, this would be better than using up lunar water resources. i.e. make rocket fuel for the gravity well battles.

Anyway was nice to see Elon excited and happy dog…. Sure we are all looking forward to the SpaceX year ahead!

  2. Starship V1 explodes twice, V2 not flown, V3 not flown…….. im sorry but this doesn't leave me in awe.
To leave me in awe you have to accomplish something! like the SLS rocket that orbited the moon on its 1st flight or the ULA rocket Vulcan 1st flight that successfully deployed its main payload, the Peregrine lunar cargo lander.
Nar sorry Starship doesn't do it for me, 15 space refuels to put one man on the moon! ridiculous!!, it's going to either fail big time or be so late thus either way wasting huge numbers of taxpayers' money.
NASA's contract should have been created with a smaller size ship and manufactured by a large defence aviation company…..someone who knows what their doing.

  3. The most realistic solution is to build the galactic class starship, which is a three stage, fully reusable starship that will not require any orbital refueling to go to the moon or to any other destination in the solar system. This is common sense, if Elon really wants to be multiplanetary. In fact, it is a stupid design to use 10 ships to refuel ship, when you can simply build a 3 stage Galactica class starship. The tank slushing and propellant pressure problems can be resolved by using perforate disk shaped fuel tank divider valves that extends to the diameter of each tank, which are peforated to allow fuel flow, and have one disk rotates above the second to seal off the bottom quarter of the tank before the rocket rotates or stops firering. You can add telescopic cylinders inside the bottom part of the now sealed smaller tank section that would expand to control the propellant pressure, regardless of the position of the rocket. In fact, I did build a small scale mode. It was simple to make, and everything works like a charm. Elon, my advice here, is your only option, if the nephilms of inner earth will allow you to really build a multiplanetary spacecraft. You are right. Aliens are not from outer space. They are ancient races living under the earth and under the oceans. We already have secret bases on the moon, Mars, and many other places in the galaxy. We already have antigravity technology.

  4. Bad math! 250×1.17 is 292.5, not 269. If you’re going to report on technical subjects, please get your math right. Increasing the ISP from 250 to 269 is about a 7% increase not a 17% increase.

  5. I wish Space X success on their next mission with Starship. Will they be also trying to land and recover the segments of the Starship and booster? I would think that they could glean a lot of information from successfully recovering the Ship and Booster. They could check out to see if there are stress fractures in the structure of the ship etc..

  6. My question being, who picks up the torch when Elon passes on? I doubt he will get to Mars though, not in this lifetime. Elon, please prove me wrong. I think by 2050 we will either be fully out there or not at all. Apart from the Eastern block nations and some others I see most of the Western nations flagging without Elon showing the way, they are naval gazing idiots with no vision for the future only their bank accounts and their egos. Politicians think in 5 year boxes and only for what they can line their pockets from, they are greedy corrupt schmucks.

  7. At such a height of 140-150 meters, even a Starship with a diameter of 9 meters looks thin, similar to falcons. It would make sense to return to at least a 12 meters diameter, but that would bring a lot of complications. A new larger OLM would be needed. More Raptors on SH. I guess the new tests for tanks with a diameter of 12 meters. If there will ever be a Starship V3, increasing the diameter is probably the only reasonable step.

  8. Where will the debris fall? Anywhere, he wants to, and that's what it's all about for him. Who needs this, tell me? Nobody. It's his tool, it's his manipulation and a cover up of what he really does behind the scenes, and who he really is. You are all his fools.
I have to sue him, but no one wants to help me nor hear what i've got to say about him. You don't have a clue what you're into, it's been ALL LIES, why, how and who. His greedy and lustful heart is a total mess.
