  1. Wil SpaceX to be grounded by FAA should Harris becomes the next president of the US? Will we ever reach Mars? As we all know the Dems aren't that Elon Musk minded and vengeful. And it seems te me that the FAA is their tool to do so.

  2. Elon Musk has lost his mind guys. If you care at all about your own future and those you love it's time to stop supporting Spacex or anything Musk. Please make the right decision. 🤢🤮🥵

  3. I wonder if Elon has any ideas of how to make the FAA more streamlined and efficient? Hmmmmm….
Nah, it's just my imagination. The FAA would never allow themselves to become a bloated, political extension of the White House.

  4. your view of the water problem at starbase doesnt go anywhere near what may happen – the amount of groundwork required to raise levels is mind blowing – but we know what space x can do – but that would develop a whole new set of problems – shady at starbase, love that – Starbase will just march on as it always has – it depends on whether they can catch the booster at 300 tons – its gonna be an epic sight – if it works. Also on the launch pad building is using more and more concrete covering natures natural drainage sponge, the more they build – the more problems with drainage will be obvious. How are they dealing with movement when they are building more and more on top of a moving base (liquid sand?) I realiize the pads are floating due to the way they are made and are piled to 100+ ft but they are all still in wet sand? and more and more powerful engines? – just being devils advocate buyt as progress speeds up – nature will always have a say – especially massive storm surges from powerful hurricanes – CAT 3/4/5 local infrastructure wouldn't survive a direct hit from a cat4/5 but more concerning would be the amount of water that would penetrate everything and be slow to drain. but hey ho, all is well – looking forward to the next test and a rocket catching party but will view online as 18 miles seems a MSD, LOL. Love your videos keep going. The FAA will never speed up and the environmental concerns will aggregate over the years. good luck.

  5. Elon Musk is way too vocal on Politics. He is clumsy and feeble on the political front. He should stick to science and engineering, this is where he excels. As a South African he is not really qualified on US Politics

  6. In defense of the FAA they got used to relying on Boeing to police themselves and look where that got them. I agree the FAA needs to work faster. How much does is cost SpaceX to get a license? I think the methane rocket pollution thing is pretty far fetched. This is basically how all home heat and hot water are made…..

  10. The FAA’s structure wasn’t built for space travel, unless it was by the Government who could do no wrong as well as dictate what the FAA could and couldn’t do.
If anything, space travel should be taken away from the FAA via a split from it or the space travel program.

  11. China is struggling, economically. I think at some point when/if this leads to sufficient internal conflict then China is more likely to start an external provocation to re-unify China, internally. Otherwise, I don't think they will make a major provocation until they feel they have sufficient military strength to take on the United States Navy. They will, however, gradually escalate as they have been.

  12. I suspect that our version of the Merkles are puppeteering this opposition against Musk (because he's standing against them). It seems our current administration's bureaucractic hypocrisy at it's finest. Fines and obstruction of progress to SpaceX, from the same administration that is pedantically forcing us to pay for catastrophic "green" energy industries that do much greater harm to the environment and destabilizing our grid, while enriching China (the greatest destroyer of the environment in the world by magnitudes), and pretending they do it to "protect."
SpaceX will endure this, but people please STOP drinking this Koolaid. 🙄

  13. Always enjoy your videos, Felix. Thanks so much for posting them. With regard to regulatory permits, suggest that SpaceX (and other private industry launch companies) develop a self-funding permitting program with FAA and other regulatory agencies. Basically, the launch permit fees will provide $$ that FAA can use to review permit applications. More permits = more permit fees = more FAA capacity to review them

  14. Yes. The clean water act is important. They're smart enough to engineer fuckin' rockets that can land themselves, lol, they can figure out how to unfuck the mess they make. Being messy in the name of progress isn't cool anymore.

  15. I'm absolutely sick and tired of the FAA doing everything they can to hinder spacex…
    But I'm not surprised…
Other BIG entities DO NOT wish to LOSE the race to space commercialization/travel/power
Therefore, they put pressure on government entities to force spacex advance to a CRAWL so that They have time to catch up to spacex's progress ….

  16. The behaviour of the EPA here has been appalling. They are deliberately impeding a leading company, out of anti-human animus and left wing resentment for anyone who achieves anything of real merit.

  17. CNBC and FAA need to be banned, CNBC members and employees jailed. There. Done. Probkems solved. Humanity pushed forwards in Space, voilaa. Matter of will, thats it, no other arguement. And FAA… Seriously… Those guys… I mean…. If I got paid their salary for taking 6months to say one word, either "yes or no" I mean dayum… Id have my own space agency 🤣

  18. it is Politics ! Elon is backing the Political Leader, who is not in Power. CNBC backs the current regime. Amazing we are talking Politics, when we should be discussing Science ! Elon needs to figure a way to shorten the Time between Planets. It needs to be a month or less !

  19. Why do major news outlets assign people with no scientific background or STEM credentials to report on "science"? Is it just because they come cheaper? Lora Kolodny's recent article for CNBC is a prime example of this issue. She falsely claimed that Starship launches cause mercury pollution, when in reality, burning methane and LOX can't produce or release mercury. What’s even more ironic is that Kolodny holds an English degree with a focus on creative writing, but it seems neither she nor her editors have ever stepped foot in a science classroom. And let's not forget the SRBs used by some other rocket companies, which could actually have mercury-related concerns.
