I personally prefer the same method you use when confronted with the obligatory "your vaping anti-freeze" argument. Tell them to f off and then remind them of the hospital, inhaler factoid. Then followed by reminding them of the MSA and how the UK government tried to warn people in the early 60's but the FDA ignored it until the 80's. Usually shuts them up for a bit.

Thank you, Vic! After more than 9 years of vaping (I started a few months before you), I'm really tired of trying to explain to people what an e-liquid is and what's in it. Mainly because I keep getting interrupted by people's preconceptions, and I can't complete my thoughts. Now, I can just send them this link and feel confident that everything is explained properly.

Using the word "cigarette", for example, "E-Cigarette" does us no favours. We need to separate vaping from smoking. People that don't smoke or vape don't care, so they are uninterested in educating themselves. All they see is vapers "smoking". The thing I hear most is "it can't be right, it smells". Yep, but you'll walk into a coffee shop, full of vapour and see no wrong in it.
The companies hired to make the anti-smoking adverts created the Character Nic O'Tine to give them a focal point for the adverts, most have since said they regret focussing on the Nicotine as it was the least toxic thing in a cigarette, in fact the nicotine does help with cognitive reasoning and research is finding it can be beneficial for people with certain brain injuries and degenerative brain illnesses.

PG was used in those robotic fog machines during covid lockdown, and yeah don't vape oil it will kill you and in a nasty way too. It coats the insides of your lungs stopping them from absorbing oxygen.
i think the toxic antifreeze uses ethenol glycol but i could be wrong
