Continuing our Narrowboat Journey on our electric Narrowboat, we are on the beautiful Stratford Canal in Shakespeare Country, moored near Mary Ardens House at Wilmcote we head down the canal towards Stratford upon Avon Basin, but get stopped in our tracks because of a lock closure. Will we find a place to park, a place to moor and make it to the Basin?
Listen to the birdsong and admire the English countryside as we travel in silence on an electric propulsion narrowboat. Travelling on the Grand Union Canal on an electric propulsion narrowboat, armed with lithium batteries and an electric motor from Vetus and almost 2 kw of solar, will our new Narrowboat make it through the amazing Braunston tunnel and Down the locks past the Admiral Nelson Pub. We seatch for a mooring on this busy canal and head to the pub for a few drinks, walking back along the canal at night to our cosy narrowboat home, just perfect.

Great journey and such a beautiful location. I hope the trip to the vet went well. My dog has an allergy which means she’s on half a tablet a day of Apoquel. The drug covers many allergies as any diagnosis is hard to detect what she’s got . She’s only 6 and is fine and full of bounce. Although Dexter is a lot older, it shows the love you three have for each other that he never wants to be apart from you. Take care, and be safe.

Hey both, hope Dexter is feeling better he does look well, dog allergies are a pain our WFT is on apoquel but I don’t really like using it 😳 we sadly lost our gorgeous beagle 2 weeks ago I completely understand how difficult it is watching your beautiful dog getting a little slower but he does look fantastic 💖 on a random note regarding you chatting about getting your car closer to your boat, I viewed a gorgeous lock cottage on I think the Oxford canal recently it was off grid had it’s own mooring and came with it’s own narrow boat that was your transport to your car about 1/2 a mile away!! absolutely gorgeous but sadly not for us, anyway I hope you have a great weekend ☀️🌱🍁
