  1. None of these political or corporate “green” people give a damn about you or your family or the “global climate”.
What they do care about is money and power.

  2. A Tesla model 3 car uses approximately 13kw/100km, how many kw/100km would an electric truck use? If we have power shortages now, where is the power going to come from to supply all the electric vehicles?

  3. Electric trucks are stupid. Especially for big rigs and long distance haulers. Hydrogen Fuel-cell is much better. Purely Battery Electric trucks need HUUUGE batteries (which are expensive and weigh a ton). It may cost energy (electrolyisis) to produce but charging a truck is a helluva lot slower than refilling a hydrogen tank, lithium cell degradation diminishes the battery's capacity over time and hydrogen trucks are much safer than pure battery electric trucks if the kevlar fuel tank is ruptured when compared to a punctured or damaged battery that explodes and takes hundreds of thousands of gallons to extinguish and can reignite itself multiple times days after initially being extinguished.

  4. The transport industry is Australia's second largest polluter by sector. Thankfully, we now have a responsible government in office that not only supports the science of climate change, it is actively doing many things – such as this – toward addressing it. Well done Team Left! Keep 'em coming!

  6. Ah yes. That mystical electric delivery vehicle that can make deliveries of heavy packages from 9-5 everyday. Can’t wait for the battery to end up in a landfill a year later. 😂

  7. They’ll be sending gas powered service vehicles with diesel generated chargers to save these trucks when they strand and can’t get people what they need. Fast tracking empty shelves this initiative is.

  8. I wonder how long it will take for people to realize the about the damage done while stripping the earth the rare minerals to make these batteries. Let's not discuss the strip mining that leaves dead spots that never recover, or the children being used in places to mine them either.
