With everyday passing the Bandai Namco Leak in June/July is real i think, after all Tekken 8 and an Armored Core sequel was announced, i think in the second trimester of 2023 we will receive a trailer for DB Xenoverse 3 and HOPEFULLY an announcement for Code Vein 2.
I'm so glad Eldenring won the goty. It's well deserved and I had tons of fun with it. Personally I'm also happy Stray could snatch some awards.

I'm so glad Reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton got the recognition he deserved (though I admit I always thought he was a Baptist).
Am I that much in the minority to feel like Elden Ring is entirely overrated? Especially when up against a game like God of War Ragnorak? Elden Ring regurgiates the culmination of Fromsoft's games and does little to change up the formula outside of 4 main points (open-world, mounted combat, jump attacks, and weapon arts). It's the same stale indirect method of storytelling where you basically pilot around a near mute crash test dummy of a character in a world (albeit admittedly beautiful) that feels essentially like Dark Souls 3.5. It doesn't even feel like a "new IP" to me like Bloodborne or Sekiro did.

So glad Elden Ring won GOTY. Ragnarok was well deserving too, but I personally was way more hyped for ER and couldn’t stop playing it for months after it’s release. Souls games are my favorite types of games too though so I’m biased😂 also was that a tease for DLC during Miyazakis speech??👀
Kratos would get crushed by any 125 plus build from Elden Ring in a modded AI simulation, it wouldn't even be particularly close…..FACTS 🤫🤫🤫

Only Cyberpunk 2077 DLC that I will buy day 1,,
For me Hades 2 and announcement that FF 16 comes to PC in 2024 was eneugh to keep me happy among some other things, Loved the look of Judas as well, very original.
As for game of the year, it really did't matter to me since i would be either DoW:R or Elden Ring and looks like Elden Ring won out.
Personally i'd have gone for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 since i loved that game 😉

Elden Ring getting game of the year shows just how far standards have dropped. The game looks good and plays good but is nonsensical, disorientated, and lacks compelling story telling. It is a good game but I think it’s perhaps the most overrated game of the year.

You can't do much in GOW games Compared to the many options you have in Any Souls game and of course in ELDEN RING.
