Video game especially in 2022 mean first visual media than gameplay. How all reviewers and YouTubers could so greatly cheated us and give to this game highest grades without all aspects considered, the game on my PS5 on quality looks so bad asis from early PS4 and Xbox One time and it even with perfect animations, story and gameplay system can't be 9 or 10 in 2022. I blame you all that you are helping to create such confusion in graduation of 2022. games quality standards and because of all of you many of us feel very cheated and unlucky. As graphic designer I have need to say this and want to very responsibly all think about next reviews and if someone is uneducated adequately to consider all reviewing aspects and elements please educate yourself gameplay is just little part in game. This is 2022 not 2008
Cause they kiss ass. The game is not that good. Feels outdated. Clunky janky it’s not good. I’ve played dark souls 3 a lot and wanted a new game but all we got was open world dark souls 3. Disappointed in this one
I'll wait for a sale with this one.
Love the game and it’s been one of the best soulbourne games to date but of course none of the reviews discuss the multiplayer and I how outdated and Unnecessarily tedious it is. Like you can roam the open world with a friend but can’t enter certain parts of the map or dungeons but can kick them and walk a few feet and resummon them.. it’s insanely stupid and pointless. It should be limited as far as progression or being sent home upon death but that is just such a lame lazy tacked on and barely seemed to show any rework to the multiplayer compared to older from software games and that ruins the experience when People just want to explore the game with a friend(s) and should be talked about more but nobody is talking about it!? Why?
It’s the only thing from keeping it from being the perfect game in my book and honestly could be a easy fix for them
Because it doesn't matter to you that the game is a technical disaster. The terrible stuttering, pop in and shimmering is so distracting. A terrible gameplay experience. Fromsoftware is mediocre.
Sekironis the easiest out of the lot is just different I wasn't a souls fan I bought sekiro,ds2 and ds3 in Jan to get ready for this ,think it's just harder for souls fans as they are set in their ways as an outsider without these problems fount it easier with the mechanics but u bant really grind if your stuck u just need to persevere lol
Because you are shills and didn't care for the performance, that's why shills. Steam Reviews show the real score this game deserves with thousands of people not being able to play it at all
I think PC issues were overlooked too much by reviewers. It's ok to have minor issues but there were lots of glaring ones like the dx12 stuttering, fps cap and no resolution support outside 16:9
the fact this is fromsoft's first open world game. They kept the appealing features and world building from their previous titles, while filling a world with interesting things.
( They trust the player to find stuff on their own )- something most devs don't do nowadays.
It's not a map with marked objectives, so it's not just a lazy checklist simulator. It's about exploration and cutting your own path.
Open worlds have been so lazy in recent years, so seeing fromsoft knock this game out of the park is worth the high reviews.
I don't play games for long stretches anymore as my ADHD kicks in, but I've had this game 27hrs and I've clocked 17hrs so far. Pretty much played non stop aside from sleeping and eating.. just woke up and all I want to do is keep playing.
High praise, very exciting
Don’t know what’s going on half the time on ER haha. Getting teleported to random locations to and fro
I've never played a minute of a Fromsoft game but I feel the need to play this even though I'm terrified… What class should a complete noob like myself choose that may soften the learning curve in any capacity? I don't want to miss out on this and don't want to be the guy who gives up after an hour. Any advice is welcome! Thanks!
The answer: they didn't play the 1.021 version, that made the stuttering and crashes worse.
Great discussion and fun.
I stayed up till midnight last night to play on ps4 I ended up making 4 different chars played 2 hours and went to bed I have absolutely no clue what class I actually want to start with 😞
Mine came 20 mins ago today is my bday
I would really like to hear a review of this game from somebody who has no real exposure to fromsoft games and who isn't a raging fanboy of them 😂 listening to these guys talk I can clearly tell it's fraught with ultimate hype bias even tho I'm sure it is a great game I'd like to hear a much more objective review
The main reason why i need to play this is so many people being excited about elements of games that weve had for decades. Like people keep having their minds blown that "you can go anywhere!"
They way they do it here most be different in a way i could never imagine so i look forward it
Am I the only one that was mega disappointed with the intro movie? Why didn't they just use the story trailer. It doesn't even match the game aesthetic… Like they just screenshot concept art and put a voice over. Other than that, I'm still loving it.
Game informer isn’t really a professional source because for example they gave some dragon quest heroes names even if they don’t have canon names but on this one they are correct so not all people there are dummies
Thanks for the insight, Dan! But the other guys should just stay quiet as you speak, is a cringe factory whenever you are interrupted.
