Radahns paired greatswords are fucking amazing. Huge damage solid move set and that weapon art is the best for clearing rooms, bosses, invasions and for stopping ambushes. Also there is a much better staff like 2 minutes from Lusats staff
I was doing a dex build and got to level 64 with it but I also wanted to try out magic. I saw that the sword of night and flame had high requirements for int and faith and that if I upgraded it the bases stats alone would be better than what I was doing so I respecced to where I was able to use it and it’s a game changer. So op I feel like I’m losing fun out of the challenge of the game. I upgraded it to +10 too and now I’m level 98 about to get the moonlight great sword and might just start using it
I’ve been loving my Dex build, dual wielded ornamental swords and light weight (under 25 lbs total). Fast and super powerful and the skill is holy damage with no needed faith points!
Aww, no mention of the Greatsword. Figured it'd get at least an honorable mention since it's one of the more direct Berserk references. Also, very glad it's back to having a mostly horizontal moveset like in DS2 instead of it's mostly vertical moveset in 3.
You can actually equip items that have higher strength requirements that you currently have by duel handing it. Hold Y or Triangle then the corresponding bumper to duel hand a weapon. It increases your strength by 50% for that weapon. Strength is the only stat affected by this, so if you have low faith srry about it.
Every souls game I've gone dex/int with a uchigatana in my right hand and a staff in my left. Swapped the uchi for a reduvia but I'm soooo jumping into that moonveil when I cam take down the magma wyrm in Gael
I've found that bosses like Margit and Godrick were really hard at first, but then I used the morningstar. Weapons that do bleed in general can give new players an easier time since the bleed damage can be insane.
I really love the sword of night and flame. It's fire aoe attacks is good but it has a beam attacks that ruins basically anything on or even above your level
I'm rockin the Moonveil katana as a samurai hybrid and loving it. This thing is a beast that cuts through 95% of all shields and staggers everything, including bosses. Dual wield it with the uchi and its phenomenal
Ummmm number 6 you didnt explain how to get it, you only said you have to "brave a dangerous area" no offense bud but the whole game is dangerous lmao. Maybe a bit more specific???
I can't afford to buy this game, and I would likely be pretty bad at it, yet it seems so good, and is so hyped, that I can't help but keep watching these Gameranx guides.

You guys really just made a video of weapons not too miss without saying where some of them are
Bro missed the Berserk sword 😮
Bro missed the Berserk sword 😮
One more video about this game and I'll be unsubscribing.
Tbh I thought about not watching this but I cleared the entire Uchigatana area without actually finding the Uchigatana so this is important

Question, does Faith based players get some different finger weapons for incantations?
Eleanora’s Poleblade is pretty much a permanent bleed + fire twin blade
0:17 what weapon is this????
Holy shit you can littarly be gandalf in this game
I’ve been loving my Dex build, dual wielded ornamental swords and light weight (under 25 lbs total). Fast and super powerful and the skill is holy damage with no needed faith points!

MOONVEIL KATANA BABY!!! Big Game Changer for Dexterity/Intelligence Builds💯
⚠️SPOILER WARNING ⚠️
Come on, Jake….Nonchalantly letting out a HUGE Spoiler 🤦🏻
The bloodhound fang should b number one cause you can get it early and upgrade it a few times and I take chunks of bosses health
Every souls game I've gone dex/int with a uchigatana in my right hand and a staff in my left. Swapped the uchi for a reduvia but I'm soooo jumping into that moonveil when I cam take down the magma wyrm in Gael
Didn't know zangetsu was in the game. Guess I have to play it now. 🤷
So the boss Astel isn’t locked behind the quest for her, i found the boss from the other side of the arena and hardlocked portions of her quest line
Found the Moonveil yesterday, changed the game for me. Glad they put decent Dex/Int based katana in the game
I've found that bosses like Margit and Godrick were really hard at first, but then I used the morningstar. Weapons that do bleed in general can give new players an easier time since the bleed damage can be insane.

The fact you said Rogeir’s rapier “gives you a LEG up” feels like a low blow. My dude can’t walk any more come on guys.
Melted the Fume Knight in DS2 with the Red Iron Twinblade. Very effective if you know how to use it.
Twin blade add the dragon crest things and booom
I feel like Vyke's warspear should deserve a mention. An absolute must for my fellow friendly neighbourhood souls trolls.
What's the amour you're wearing for the moonvale katana? It's so sick
I'm rockin the Moonveil katana as a samurai hybrid and loving it. This thing is a beast that cuts through 95% of all shields and staggers everything, including bosses. Dual wield it with the uchi and its phenomenal
I love this game so much
Any strength and faith recommendations? I have the golden halberd but I don't know if I should upgrade it or wait to find a better one
DAE elden ring? 🤪
The best of all weapon is basically Starscourge Greatsword or Hand of Malenia
Ummmm number 6 you didnt explain how to get it, you only said you have to "brave a dangerous area" no offense bud but the whole game is dangerous lmao. Maybe a bit more specific???
Meanwhile there's me my first playthrough of any Souls game: "WHERE IS THE CLAYMORE?!"
Got 0 of these weapons and beat the Game in less than 30 hours soooo cant miss is hyperbolic af
