For me Double Slash looked like a slightly worse sword dance but it has it's unitlities (better in close range, less punishable) so it's worth to keep both.
Pro Tip – Dex scales with lightning consumables as well as lightning ash of war attacks. Faith scales with lightning incantations but not attacks.
Thank god for G9, not sure how long until I can move and get good internet again but this will hold me over till then aswell as prepare me a bit, glad to see the frequent uploads as usual.

Out of curiosity, around how many invasions do you lose on average?
Does anyone know the idea character level/weapon upgrade level correlation for invasions? Planning to stop at around 70/80

The lock on system in this game is literally in troll level bad. You cannot accidentally make it this bad seriously. It almost always locks on to wrong target. You have 3 giants right in front of you, center of camera, you press on lock on, and it finds a squirrel not even in the screen behind a huge castle wall and locks onto that. Like wtf!! 🙂 .
I don't get it. Why are some people going on degenerate rants about hoarfrost stomp getting nerfed? From the looks of this vid, It still looks really good albeit a bit toned down.

Double Slash is sick but i prefer Sword Dance for Claymore just because it closes the gap on activation. I've caught so many moonveil spammers off guard with it.

Thankyou! There are so many people making "builds" that will get nerfed or just suck in 3 months. It's rare to see well thought out builds a few weeks after launch.
I see that menu weapon swapping is still a thing. Is there even a reason why they put multiple weapon

Why do hosts always think its up to the invader to initiate combat? Especially in 2 or 3 vs 1s? Otherwise stalling is worse for the host no? No progress made by host is a win for invader?
i find great hunt way more fun and better against jump spammers.

Have you tried the big butchers knife like weapon that scales with dex from that invader if you use 2x slash and bleed its super good because it has a great slam plus the ash too makes it hard to judge ranges when fighting it.

Can someone explain to me how to fix the severe lagg in pvp i played pvp in all of the souls games and i've never had back to back with laggy host. Its getting irritating as i cant outspace anyone and every attack i do i end up trading with someone because my attack registers 3 seconds later Anyone found a fix for this problem?, Mostly asking because pvp seems just fine in this video.

So just a heads up with the concealing veil, me and a buddy were testing that out and it turns out if you crouch with a bow (or crossbow) your opponent may not see you but can see any particle effects on the tips of your arrows /bolts.

Wanna know the worst thing about the lock-on? It gets lost on critical attacks. Like, if you get parried and reposted, there's a good chance you'll die even if you survived being shanked, just because the lock-on was lost.

I was doing dex faith for a black knife lore build and power stancing daggers is a casters worst nightmare. Anything under 50 poise I'm guessing gets stun locked fast af

Stop it! I used bloody slash and hoarfrost stomp before the nerfs, then I switch to double slash and everyone is exposing it as being OP too.

I've been playing with spectral lance on my greatlance and nightrider glaive. Hella fun. Also, spinning slash on the greatlance is just funny for how much space it covers lol.
