Elden Ring: The Worst Boss In From Software History

This is genuinely the worst boss in From Software history that I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering, which usually is such a weird thing to say. Almost every boss feels like this badass encounter that you can learn from with each and every attempt. But this, this was too much. I was hoping I would be able to include a funny twist at the end of this video with me beating Radahn at the very end of the video after all my ranting, but even that I wasn’t able to accomplish.

  1. Radahn isn't the worst boss in my eyes, but it was still really annoying. Most of his attacks one shot me and his movements are so erratic. And of course the big guy with the ability to one shot has ridiculous combos, like all bosses in Elden Ring. I would no damage him multiple times until phase two, where inevitably those purple homing meteorites would one shot me. Blocking was useless and rolling was no help either. The only reason I won was because for whatever reason those homing meteorites targeted one of my allies. Felt like luck. A cool character in lore and a cool boss fight on paper, but it just didn't hit the mark. I've beaten 4 shardbearers so far and I've only really liked Godrick.

  2. Killed him 3 times on my way to 100% and only died 5 times across those 3 attempts. He can be easily brought down with bleed or ranged magic, and his size gives you a lot to aim at. Some of his moves (like when he slams his swords into the ground) only require one dodge then you can circle to the back and get 2-3 easy hits in.

  3. I had a high Intelligence build with the moon katana and it took me around 10 tries too. 4 deaths to his arrows. 2 deaths to his meteor attack. Rest of the deaths to his swords. I was dishing that damage though. Once I figured out to hop on the horse and dash away on the meteor strike attack it became way easier for me. Definitely my most hated boss so far.

  4. I got rly lucky and beat him in one hit with the comet azur and drinking my physick that removes mana consumption so i fired it off and held it down till he was dead and he didnt move because he was distracted fight lasted a good minute and a half. Ps you seem pretty under leveled for the fight, health is rly low in the footage.

  5. I love hard battles, I love learning moves to something that feels impossible and feeling yourself slowing getting the hang of it, that’s the whole reason I play souls games. That being said this boss is fucking stupid, it’s not hard in a fun challenging way it’s just boring run around hope you get good rng because there’s nothing to learn. After beating him I didn’t get that feeling of accomplishment that I do with other bosses I just was like thank god show me the rest of the game

  6. I understand the sentiment but I can’t imagine a scenario where watching the boss fly in as a drone strike and not getting out of the way can be conceived as helpful.
