  1. Lowko finds a seemingly dead/sleeping lady in a boss looking room and comments "Oh nevermind, it is just a lady guys, its fine". Has he already forgotten Bloodborne and Lady Maria?

Also that Elden Beast reminds me a lot of Ludwig and his Holy Moonlight Sword, especially with those horizontal wave attacks

  2. About the open world aspect I think it is a way so that nearly everyone can play the game (compared to a more Classic Dark Souls at least).
Basically if you struggle to much you always have the options to go farm ennemies and explore minor parts of the game etc. Or if you really want challenge just go main plot or something?

  3. Yeah, I think you are a little bit too greedy Lowko. And I'm pretty sure you didn't do much of the side quests and stuffs. There are many stories in this game other then just the main Elden Ring storyline. And you didn't fight the secret dragon boss. I think this game is great. I disagree with the open world is too big. I think it's fine.

  4. The open world is a trade-off. It makes allot of space low intensity, which is really good for more casual players to get back into rhythm between play sessions. But it also means that for a straight run it's dead space, just plain boring…

Also most of the side caves and bosses in them are recycled assets with really no point in intentionally doing them all. You just never know who has that one item you would use.

  5. not only is it one of the hardest bosses but she just has a cool as design. like for anyone who says that melania isnt that bad….try beating her without mimic/summons or OP meta builds like bleed uchi/frost stomp. like straight up 1v1 she is a nightmare

  6. I'd say the open world looked empty to you because maybe you didn't explore enough? (Disclaimer I haven't seen your playthrough, so I don't know). I took 110 hours in my first playthrough and still missed 2 major areas. There are a lot of unique stuff out there, they are just very well hidden. The only area that I feel could be smaller is the snow area. That did feel like they'd run out of time, since there are I believe no new type of enemies there, and it's pretty empty. The rest of the areas though I think are brimming with content. 9/10 times if something looked like it would hide something, it did.

  7. I think you ended up with the best Elden ring ending Lowko. Why not be a witch's consort for all eternity? She started the whole story anyway. The other endings seem really rinse and repeat, like almost TWWH3 grade copy and paste endings…..
