In this video, I’ll give you my Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Review, with a full look into the expansion after having spent nearly every single waking moment of the past two weeks with the DLC. Playing over 120 hours myself and a collective 250+ hours as a team, we have managed to complete most of the content and unlock most of the DLC secrets, although some NPC questlines will require a replay to fully figure out. Is the DLC worth 40 USD? Was it worth the two year wait? What can you expect in terms of content and how does it affect the base game? We have all these answers and more.

    IMPORTANT: Your DLC gameplay length will vary WIDELY. I spend a lot of time finding every item and checking every corner of the map – there are no guides for me and I have to find EVERYTHING for the wiki, complete all NPC questlines, figure out what the questline does when its different, upgrade weapons to test them, etc. You can expect your playthrough to be a lot shorter – but a really blind completionist no stone unturned playthrough will take significant time.

  3. and NOW!!! in a bout 4 hours, FIGHTING, out of the non shadow ERDTREE area. level 194 (me) FIGHTING out of the land of shadows, that gangly fire snake guy. iiiiiiiiiittttsss….T I M E !!!!!. YIP IM HEARING BRUCE BUFFER IN MY HEAD WHOLE NIGHT.
