The furance pot mechanic was explained in a random note found on one of the dead golems close to where you find the recipe for magma and furnace pots. It's a note to other researchers to keep furnace pots away from the golem corpses no matter what
To everyone bashing falcon for bad pronunciations, all long term fans knows this is a gameranx staple. Could be Jake, Falcon or whoever and they all very confidently mess up names for characters and locations, especially in games that have voice acted lines that specifically talk about the people and locations. In order to even fight Roddin somebody has to talk about him and the festival, and most people get to Moga by interacting with Varré who talks about Moga in almost every line
