The best Elden Ring Rune Farming Exploit Method for the early game, giving 300,000+ Runes/Hour (5,000 per Minute). This is doable from the very start of the game.

Step 1: Go to Limgrave – Third Church of Marika. This isn’t far from where you begin the game. Use the portal there to go to Dragonbarrow.

Step 2: From where you get teleported to head downstairs past the big bird guardian and follow the path to the next site of grace “Farum Greatbridge”, just before a big bridge with a dragon on it.

Step 3: Now farm the little black enemies in the area. They are very easy to kill, every hit interrupts them, they stay stunlocked on repeated hits and can’t do anything. They give 937 per enemy, more than some early game bosses, and only take a few seconds to kill. Works for all starting classes, doesn’t matter if you have a melee build or mage or whatever. Kill as many as you can in one life, then fast travel back to the site of grace to make them all respawn, and repeat. Be sure to FAST TRAVEL, don’t go back manually, it’s much quicker to use fast travel.

Bonus Tips: Use the mount to ride from one enemy to the next to save time. At site of grace you can allocate all flasks to health if you’re a melee character or all to mana if you’re a mage. While on horse, press CIRCLE to speed up, do this before drinking potions so you’re already sped up while drinking the potion to save a few seconds. Use the exact same route I show, it’s the most efficient path. Ignore the groups of 2 or more enemies standing together, chance of messing up is too high. Land the 1st hit from behind when possible to deal extra damage, can kill enemy 1 hit faster. As you gain runes put them all towards more damage (whatever attribute your preferred weapon scales with). In my case I was using an Astrologer starting class using Carian Greatsword spell and 49 Intelligence to kill enemies in 3 hits. But you can cast any other spell or melee attack, the time to kill enemies won’t take much longer. The further you level up the faster you can kill them, thus increasing your runes earned per minute. I was Level 50 in this video. Feel free to use a stopwatch to see how long it takes you to kill 1 enemy and do 1 full run of the enemies shown in video, then you can estimate how many runes you will earn per hour, it will vary slightly based on your damage output. Grind as many level-ups as possible before bothering with the main bosses. Level 100 is good, put 60% of points in damage and 40% in vigor for health.

  23. Can confirm this works right off the bat. Use a melee weapon and crouch > backstab. They are blind af so you can always sneak to them. Then circle around them and get another backstab when they prep their attack (they are all slow AF). At level 8 I can two shot these enemies with the ornamental sword (from beating tutorial boss). But if you aren't two shotting them, you can just go for 3 shot. If you have a dagger I bet it's even faster.

  27. So many cuck YouTubers putting “exploit” in the title for clicks. It’s not even an exploit it’s basic farming. Enemies respawn that’s the whole point of the game. You can choose any place to kill enemies over and over.
