  1. I was pretty disappointed with DS3 due to the combat being exactly the same as before (the addition of skills didn't change a thing), which was pretty unacceptable for me when there already was Bloodborne with it's brilliant new mechanics. I'm wondering if Elden Ring changes the combat enough, or is it just Dark Souls but with unsignificant additions.

(I know you mentioned those in the review, but "stealth attacks" or "weapon crafting" are not combat related, and you didn't elaborate on jumping, guard breaking, etc., so I'm just wondering how different the combat actually is.)

  2. I hear Souls game and immediately loose interest. Not to say those games are bad. They just are just not at all what I look for. Glad to hear it is good for the people who like this type of game though. I rather wait for the next Elder Scrolls, KotOR or Dragon Age game.

  3. I love your short reviews. I don't want to watch 10+ minutes of in-game footage; I'm basically just looking for confirmation that "Yeah, this game's as awesome as you thought it'd be."

  4. One question:
Can enemies drop things like useful weapons and gear? Or do regular enemies only give xp and crafting materials?
Are bosses the only thing that will give you weapons and gear? And is all the gear SET? Meaning, can I find random generated things like in diablo?

  5. Question about mouse camera controls. In other FromSoftware games, most recently Sekiro, the camera automatically turned as your character moves. This is presumably to make it easier to use a controller but I often found myself fighting for control of the camera with my mouse. Have you played the game with mouse and keyboard and how is the mouse camera controls with Elden Ring?

  6. I enjoyed Demons souls Vanilla and darksouls 2 (played all the others except dms ps5 since i don't have one). Elden ring doesnt appeal me that much. That's a shame, hope i'll change my mind soon.
