  1. This game is incredible.

UPDATE: It would seem as though performance issues haven't been resolved by the Day 1 patch, with some reporting it's made things worse. It might be better to hold off. A shame to have this one blemish in what I think is an otherwise really stellar game.

  2. I kind of wish you covered the games failings as well as it's boons. Elden Ring is riddled with performance issue, constant disconnects when in coop, incomplete UI port not to mention the camera fighting your movements.

  3. My thoughts to add after 10 hours, it’s incredibly easy compared to previous entries playing in quality mode the game looks ok but runs like trash and performance mode looks grainy and fuzzy with way to much motion blur. It’s not a bad game but it isn’t living up to previous entries at this point and my hatred for giant open empty worlds is growing as its old and un needed. I’m playing on PS5.

  4. So we now have Elden Ring and The Witcher 3, and hopefully CDPR will ACTUALLY improve CP2077 so it becomes the game they promised us.
That means that Bethesda will now has some legit competition, so they can't half-ass it anymore like they did with previous titles and rely on the fact that people will still play their game just because there is nothing like it on the market.

  5. Only game I've ever played on this machine that didn't have 3840×1600 support or default to PC controls, yes that second one is true and not funny when you're trying to hit xbox buttons to navigate menus when you don't have a xbox. Control is quite awful as well.

  6. It's atrocious on PC, just saying. When did this channel become a Console-only circlejerk anyway?
Capped FPS. Stuttering. Impossible to run on minimum hardware. Horrible controls, clearly designed with a gamepad in mind.
    There's a reason it's mixed on Steam…

  7. The game is just so desolate…(just me and the enemies in the open world doesn’t sound all that interesting)I hope the fans of these souls games enjoy them as this is like a love letter to them and their commitment to these games.

  8. The last time there has been a game this hyped up was RDR2, from 2018
We haven’t had a game like this for years
2018 would be difficult due ti for if war and RDR2, 2019
Had sekiro yet wasn’t had hyped up as it probably should have been
2020 did have doom eternal and ghost but cyberpunk was a disappointing disaster and TLOUP2 was a joke (to me) with its poor and insulting writing
2021 didn’t really have much besides 2042 which was garbage
Arguably the worst multiplayer game ever made
This year 2022 looks really damn big
Forbidden west is basically a perfect sequel (besides the average story and characters) but almost flawless, Jeremy ring which, well it’s elden ring
And we still got ragnorak and starfish wity some other games like red fall and ghost wire Tokyo

  9. I'm finding it far too easy for a Souls game. The focus on magic and summons makes quick work of most enemies, the regenerating estus for killing enemies is so cheap and casual, i also don't find myself stressed and panicking trying to find a bonfire or grinding souls to level up either.
The open world also kills my interest in exploration because it feels much emptier than DS3. So many empty corners and pointless dead ends.
Good game, but it's definitely the easiest FromSoft game I've played so far.

  10. The game looks soo bad on my PS5 out of all next gen standards and expectations, Demons Souls for PS5 is far better looking, can't stand Elden Ring's look especially buildings and it's repetitive textures and proportions as person from art school trained for viewing cant look at it 5-6 minutes, start it and must turn off that ugliest popular game I'm feeling CHEATED by uneducated YouTubers and reviewers which do not respect 2022 standards and our free time

  11. I haven't gone into the video yet but I've been wondering… Is this closer to Souls/Bloodborne or Sekiro? I love Souls/Bloodborne but I just couldn't get into Sekiro, so I am worried of getting this and not getting to enjoy it as much as I expect to
