This is much like my current build, it's a lot of fun to play. The lightning incarnations are great, and got me thinking that a Thor build would be great, using the battle hammer from murkwater cave
I got a Halo Scythe and its ash of war actually outdamages all incantations that I tried to compare :/. I have around 40 faith and spent other points mostly on vigor, mind and endurance.
Why str/faith and not dex/faith? Dex boosts cast speed, might be a better choice for a melee/caster hybrid. Str looks more suitable for a high endurance build and heavy shields and armor.
What about a faith samurai build? Like a holy samurai
That scythe is really bad when trying to fight something that is small and fast enemy
I saw someone using Vyke's War Spear and hopping around like a madman (pun!) which looked so cool. Is there any chance you could do something with it in an upcoming showcase? It's another faith (/strength/dexterity) weapon and I dig your video style, so seeing it in action would be nice.
Maybe I'm stupid or just dumb…but this open world shit has me all messed up…every other souls game..i knew where to go..i had a path to follow…this game has zero path progression..i just feel like i never know where im going or where to go next….i need like a full faith..walkthrough..not just a build…
try using this scythe build. grave scythe, godslayer's seal, black flame, black flame blade, and put the spinning blade ash of war. and if you have and whetstones this build is a strength and faith build.(bonus weapon: use night and flame blade)
It's hard getting used to the tracing of scythe weapons after getting used to the swords that Confessors start with. I always keep over or under timing the swings, and it throws me off how the jump heavy is a side-ways slash rather than a slam downwards, the inverse of swords rly.
