– This comparison has been made with the launch patch applied to all versions.
– The PC version runs on an RTX 3080 and 32Gb of RAM at 2160p.
– Xbox Series improves its performance with the use of VRR (if we have a compatible monitor). PS5 does not have this option, although it does have a higher average FPS.
– If we run the PS4 game on PS5, we get a perfect framerate at 1800p (with temporal reconstruction) sacrificing the graphical improvements offered on the native PS5 version.
– I consider it a bad decision not to lock the framerate in quality mode on consoles. It would also be a good idea to lower the resolution to 1440p in PS5/SeriesX FPS mode.
– Load times are faster on PC (with an Nvme m.2 SSD) and PS5.
– There are PC drops during loading areas and some fights. It’s some kind of bug that should be fixed sooner or later.
– FPS mode lowers the quality of shadows, reflections and anisotropic filtering on all console versions. In Series S these settings are lower.
– The tall grass pop-in is quite noticeable on consoles. The PC version has a much longer draw distance in this regard.
– Same texture quality on all platforms in general.
– Overall, a typical performance of a FromSoftware game. Far from being perfect on all platforms, it’s likely to get better over time (especially on PC). FromSoftware should consider revamping the graphics engine in their next game.
– If you have a VRR compatible screen, I would choose the Xbox version over PS5.

How did this get a 10 from most websites? Jesus Christ . 3080 dipping like that is not acceptable. I'm here with a 3070 and can't imagine the rage I would feel if it dropped like that 😭😂
Well at least Series S do have 60fps option unlike Dying Light 2,..
For PS user, play the PS4 ver on PS5 instead
For xbox user, use VRR monitor
PS5 good FPS, Series X good quality, series S good job, PC bad optimization.
The Frame rates are horrible on Xbox Series X as there’s no way the game’s running at a minimum of 45fps in the performance mode because Vrr isn’t even helping when the frame rates tank which means it’s going lower than 45fps since Vrr only works when the performance is between 45 to 120, and some areas feel like 35fps, and not just for a few seconds but sometimes entire areas run at what feels like 35fps, and that’s especially true when it rains as parts of the open world struggles badly as the game’s an absolute mess right now on the day one patch at least for Me using performance mode on Xbox Series X with a proper Vrr television set
Either Way they need an immediate Patch cause this shits nearly unplayable at time’s as it completely ruins the immersion of the game at least for Me as there’s nothing worse than bad performance in a game like this
Guys one question if I have a r7 5800 with 32 gb and a 3080 I should buy on pc or PS5 ???? What do you think :/
Does the Series X beast even touch 60fps? This is just scandalous.
Which one is your wife?….. I don't know, I just noticed they are twins!!
That's a shame that we don't have a locked 60 FPS option on either PS5 or XSX, It just shows how they don't care about optimization about specific hardware, which is not a surprise based on their previous games, I enjoyed playing Sekiro on PS5 with locked 60 FPS, but before PS5, console gamers had no option for locked 60 FPS. Now with newer consoles, they don't have that option either unless they tend to play the PS4 version of the game via backward compatibility mode which is kind of a bummer for PS5 or XSX owners.
Gracias 🙏🏼
They should've given this game to Bluepoint lmao.
I wanna a comparison between XO, XOX and XS/X
hi music id ? i like music thx
But why you advice the company to make a lower resolution, its good actually with 4k and i dont see big drop in frames.only vrr will solve the problem.
lol that PC probably cost more than 6 Playstation 5
Giving them away for free on a service you pay 16$ a month for is skooma logic..also saying that elden ring is running at 30-35 fps on xbox series s performance mode is false..I Love Sony but I will not be a pony, this gen I bought the console that made the most sense in so many categories, xbox series s, and I've literally been on playstation since 1996..game on whatever works for you folks, and become a Elden Lord with us✌✌😎💨💨🌲
Honestly I think the last game I've ever played that had great optimization and was really fun was Doom Eternal. Forza Horizon 5 Is also pretty good but it did have those server issues in the beginning
Pathetic performance on all consoles.. Best way to play on series x with vrr highest quality.
Really?? xD
Recommend Xbox series x with VRR for best experience like always. But its utter crap optimised
This is the 'Elden Rings' which just came out and everyone are taking about?? The graphics look like s@#$. Like a late PS3 game. Maybe early PS4… wtf??
I'm playing on a high end PC, but holy crap, how does the game look so good on an Xbox Series S?! Such an impressive budget machine for the price.
Performance test on Xbox One S
PS5 running the PS4 version is the most stable FPS you can get on this game!!!!!!! Even if you compare with a RTX 3090 equipped PC… because of the terrible stuttering.
it's more CPU intensive
